This location really works for all I wanted to do

Bartender Esteban was great and a good local guide to local restaurants

I really enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard by Marriott San Mateo Foster City. First, the staff were very nice and helpful. Second, my room and the property were extremely clean and peaceful. Lastly, the location was a big plus shopping, dinning, and freeways were are close by. I would highly recommend this hotel, and I will definitely be staying there again next time.

Hotel is in a convenient location, close to stores and food. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were a bit stiff but other than that it was a great stay and we will be returning.

Clean rooms and friendly staff

Friendly and courteous staffs, clean facilities and comfortable bed. Since we only stay for one night, we didn’t use any other amenities, but great place overall.

The front desk staff was excellent! They were friendly, welcoming and accommodating! Joe especially gave me a room in the way back near an elevator to my car. It made my 4 days were convenient and easier than going back and forth to other areas. The place is very quiet and the room was delightful for a single traveller.

The ADA room we reserved was nice, but the grout in the bathroom could use a good deep cleaning. Everything was within reach of my chair, which of course makes it low and awkward for my partner, lol. I liked having a patio door that fully opened and had a security bar.

Very clean and quiet accommodations. I will stay here again.

The staff was great! Efficient and courteous! Our room was spotless, air conditioning was on and it was nice and cool upon arrival! Wish we could have stayed longer! :)

The room we stayed is clean but the shower faucet was locked and completely out of function. We had to switch to an adjacent room in the middle of night. The comforter was just a bed sheet with a thin blanket. Disposable plastic cups are used for drinking with a $6 bottle water. No bath robes. Room cleaning is scheduled every other day. We also paid $10 daily parking fee.

I don’t know why but I love this place. It’s convenient to everything I need to do in Foster City and I love that I can park my car right outside the room on Shell Boulevard and get anything. I need very quickly. Staff is friendly and accommodating, and everything is clean and nice.

I was very disappointed that there was a $10 charge for parking each night. It just seems like you are nickel and diming people to death.And when I mentioned this to the front desk clerk, she said that this hotel was by far the cheapest of any of the hotels in foster city, which I find very hard to believe. I don't recall seeing a charge on any of the bills that i've had.In the last 2-3 years at any of your local competition?So I think if it were up to me, I would get rid of that charge.Immediately, you're not really providing any service for it either other than guarding, to make sure somebody doesn't break into our cars.
