Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tulsa West - Sand Springs by IHG

Liked the location, it was quiet. The elevator was not working, it was really hard since I am disabled. The juice machine was not working for breakfast. The air in the room didn't keep the room cool,

The elevator was broken the entire stay of 17 days

Although clean, the property needs an update. Elevator was out. The roll-up blind in our room had some holes and would not stay open.

The staff were very personable and friendly. The elevator was broken. The hotel definitely needs some attention. But if you’re just looking for a place to put your head and take a shower, then it’s OK. It would’ve been a lot worse if the staff was not so friendly.

Clean The elevators were not working. I was put on the fourth floor with a bad knee.

I had a great experience here. Very quiet and delicious breakfest! Cleaningness was perfect! My room was an absolute comfortable!

They sent an email the day of arrival that their elevator was down but being fixed. Truthfully they have been doin repairs for a year! Our room was fair, mold in the shower, scuffed walls. Our other room (for a family member) was dirty, 1/2 of a crappy piece of curtain. Lame! They gave us a discount on that room but nothing on our other room. And we had to climb stairs . I’m cancelling my VIP IHG membership. The front desk staff weee so kind and helpful, but Don’t stay here!

Bed was comfy. Nice view. Really nice shower. No elevator!!! We stayed on 2nd floor. I have bad knees. Very hard for me. Under construction

It was dirty. No working elevator and smelled bad.

The hotel was in a good area. The elevator was broken. We were not told this until after we checked in and were handed our keys. Our room was on the 4th floor. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, we did not have cold water in our bathroom so the sink and shower just blasted scalding hot water. There were multiple broken tiles in the entry way that shifted as you walked. The hotel breakfast was horrible everything was stale and cold (we got down there at 8:30) the gravy had a burnt taste to it.

Very poor upkeep. Needs a lot of repairs. Big one - elevator’s been broken for many months. Wall near the stairs seemed to be a repair project underway but not moving forward.

Disappointed with the elevator situation

I'm handicap and the elevator had been down several weeks. They didn't notify me about the elevator. I told the manager I was handicap and they put me on the third floor. They offered to catty my luggage up but my luggage isn't handicapped. We left a day early because I got tired of the stairs.

The elevators were out of service, cable sucked, and rooms smelled like mildew. Very surprising since the hotel is not old at all.

Elevator Out

Well, the hotel’s only elevator is out of order and undergoing maintenance. For some unknown reasons, many guests were assigned to rooms on the 4th (top) floor while the city had heat advisory ongoing. Good thing the AC was strong in my room and in the corridor, but having to climb up and down 3 floors not ideal at all with heavy luggage.
