Staff was friendly. Rooms are outdated but clean enough. I would stay the night again when we come back to cedar point.

Local old motel style hotel block away from park entrance. Does the job for a place to sleep. Donuts, muffins, and coffee were served in the morning.

A very good place to stay on a budget if planning to visit Cedar Point, as it’s located not far from the park. About a 10 minute drive. So very convenient. Staff was very friendly. Definitely would stay there again if I go back.

Disgusting

The room was very clean and the A/C was ice cold. This place was cheaper than most other places I saw while also being close to cedar point. The front desk lady was polite and helpful too. But, 1) the wifi was terrible. It struggled to load even one page. To be honest, i had to rely on my phones data plan almost entirely. 2) the bathroom door in our room also didn’t close fully. 3) The toilet at one point didn’t flush. Had to wait for like an hour then try again. For the price, not bad overall but, as I said, definitely some cons.

The staff wasn’t as helpful as I would have liked. Lots of laughing and never answering your questions. Rooms are okay but certainly not updated in any fashion. Showers were good and kept hot water for multiple people. Air conditioner in one of our two rooms was extremely loud. Pool was not exactly safe with sharp pieces of concrete everyone and tons and tons of empty alcohol bottles and cans. Okay for the price but not sure we’d return.

It was a nice location. Clean sheets. Clean room.

We stumbled upon Sandusky headed to Maryland from Colorado. The town is so wonderful. We were able to score a last min room for 67 bucks. The owner was the main receptionist and we had a very lovely conversation with him. Super friendly and attentive, he definitely knows customer service . We will be back

They just replaced all the locks throughout the entire property for better security.

Needs updates

Not the cleanest place for the price, but was still relatively inexpensive given other option near Cedar Point.

Exterior of the building appeared to be in need of remodeling. There was plenty of parking. Due to the appearance and no cars in any of the parking areas, we thought the hotel may have closed. But don't let that fool you. Guests were all at Cedar Point. The hotel interior at registration was beautiful. A gentleman who I'm assuming was the owner met us at the desk and said the hotel was acquired a year ago and remodeling was underway. There was no elevator to the second floor. The room and bedding appeared clean. Furniture and carpeting appeared to be old. Air conditioning did not work well. There was a full size refrigerator. Shower floor was very slippery. I trust that with more time the entire hotel will be as beautiful as the entryway.

Run down old place.

Building and landscaping are run down and need to be cleaned up. Place is dated but rooms were clean. Our toilet leaked water on the floor. Lots of people just “hanging” around outside. Lady at the desk was very nice.

No blow dryer, water pressure was very weak. We stayed two days and they never even changed the bathroom towels. But, the bed was confy and the ac was cold

If you are looking for a bed and a shower, but nothing else, this place should suffice. The proprietor scolded me for not telling him that the lamp didn't work, there was no coffee maker, and the microwave didn't heat. Also, the inside the room security locks were broken -- like the room had been broken into -- and never replaced or repaired. His staff should alert him to these things. If they can't check everything because "people don't want to work" (his words), PAY them. People will work for fair pay. The locks are inexcusable.

But for the price was good in general

The staff were pleasant and friendly. The room was adequate however three bathroom faucet needed a set screw because the handle was loose. The room was clean.
