Our problems started immediately after check in. Door was sticking had to shove it open and slam it shut. Then the deadbolt would not lock and the third lock was broke also. Maintenance cut a piece of the metal block to make the deadbolt work. Tv didn’t work neither did the phone. Felt very unsafe. Overnight staff super unhelpful. Morning staff was great. Toya specifically was very accommodating and helpful. Manager couldn’t be bothered to show up to deal with all the problems when he told staff he would be there. He also instructed them not to contacted his manager also only him. 1000% would not recommend this hotel.

The check in wasn't the best experience, the King room I booked wasn't clean, so I ended up with a Queen Double and had to wait on the manager to essentially approve a lesser room. No power so no AC, it came back on an hour before I checked out. The front desk employee Chastity made it all better when she comped the room at checkout. I hadn't complained to her, but you bet I'll stay there again because of her service.

Overall the staff and the property were nice. Our bedding on one of the beds was dirty like the bed was made but the sheets were visibly dirty. Other than that and the horrible condition of the parking lot it was a decent stay for the value and location.

Rooms are dirty and dated. Carpets are filthy (turn white socks black). Dust, dirt on lampshades..hair on bathroom floor. I didnt expect much for the price but this is basic cleaning 101.

Everyone was very nice and accommodating! I needed to check out late due to vehicle mishaps and they took care of it no problem. Someone had busted out a window when I first arrived late at night. Wasn’t the hotel’s fault but made me a little unsettled the rest of my time.

The sheets on the bed did have some stains but we had our own blankets we take anyways so that didn’t bother us. We also check for bugs before putting things in our room and there was nothing we seen that would have made us think that at all. There was a little bit of a smell in the room the first day we were there but after we put our stuff in the room and came back that evening it wasn’t there at all. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good especially the waffles that definitely was our favorite part. The parking lot is pretty convenient the only thing that kind of was a pain was just pulling out towards cedar point during certain times but nothing we didn’t manage. We didn’t stay much at the hotel but the benefit of the room was the fact we were less than 6 minutes from cedar point which was the only reason we were in that area and the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you go and want to eat a breakfast out try the Pancake house it was not far and beyond delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you staff for making it so pleasant to stay here.

Clean room

Smells terrible. Dirty floor. Mold in bathroom. Furniture dirty- Dusty and spider webs. Stains on curtains. Will never stay here again.

The experience was thoroughly disappointing; the staff appeared completely clueless about their responsibilities, which only compounded the issues. The rooms were in a deplorable state, unclean and frankly repulsive, making the entire place feel like an overall nasty environment.

The location was near Cedar Point The light over the sink flickered. The tv didn’t automatically connect to the Buckeye cable system.

We had a noisy air unit and the door was tough to open and close. There was no gym/workout room as advertised which was one of the main reason I picked this hotel. Very disappointed and got no answers about it from the front desk when I asked why I gym was advertised.

We checked in late Friday night, and went to bed. About 1:30am, there was a loud, insistent, banging on our door – like what you would imagine a police raid sound like. Needless to say, it was very alarming. By the time my husband got out of bed and got dressed and to the door, they were gone. My husband came back to bed and tried to get back to sleep. 20 minutes later, the same men were back with a key card trying to enter our room while we were sleeping! My husband jumped up, ran to the side window and saw them trying to enter our room. He yelled “What are you doing?!” They said they thought we didn’t belong in the room. (????) My husband said “This is our room! You just checked us in a few hours ago!” They said sorry, and without further explanation went away. But due to the ordeal, my husband never got back to sleep. He was worried people were trying to get in our room all night. The woman who checked us out in the morning was shocked. She said she unfortunately could not personally do anything to compensate us for the disturbing experience, but that she would pass the information to the owner who would refund a portion of our stay. Not only did we never hear from the owner, but I emailed him a few days later, and he never responded to that either. I also tried calling multiple times and got no response. Beware of staying at this hotel. Don’t do it!

We stayed for two nights, the room was clean and no bugs...just the outside is ran down and not very pleasant. Also you get practically no channels on the TV other than that, it is a average place to stay on the cheap!

The outside may look slightly deceiving? But inside the rooms were nice. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms are nice. Nothing was broken. Breakfast was not a great selection. Over all not a bad stay for the price. Great if your just wanting a clean place too sleep for going to cedar point.

Proximity to Cedar Point is excellent. Less than 10 minute drive. It's a bit outdated but it's clean and staff is super helpful and friendly.
