The Anchor Inn

Very quaint little motel, beautifully renovated, the king studio is very nice modern and elegant furnishings. Staff was very helpful and extremely polite. Self check in was very easy, once I read the message from the staff, everything you need is at the facility. Location is is perfect, midisland lots of restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute drive. We will definitely be staying here in the future. I highly recommend.

This place had the charm of old Florida that is so hard to find in beach towns. The room was so fresh and clean. It had everything we needed ( stove, frig. cold air and a comfy bed) . We loved the ability to wash our clothes with the on site washer/dryer. They also had chairs, beach wagons, towels, and bikes for anyone to use that is staying! Pool was nice and very clean! I can’t say enough Great things about our stay!! Definitely definitely definitely would stay here again and would recommend to anyone!!!

The property was beautiful, easy to navigate, and in a great location. Everything was very clean and the provided supplies and amenities were perfect for our needs and comfort. The property owners communicated clearly and kindly to inform us of their expectations and all the property had to offer! I honestly have no complaints!

It was clean, cute and easy to access! AC was amazing, bed was comfortable, shower was large, even shampoo, conditioner and body wash!!Everything you needed!Beach was about a 10-15 minute walk away but I didn’t mind. There was a path the whole way!

I was amazed on how fresh and clean the room was . I am OCD with cleanliness and I can vouch for the cleanliness of the room. Only issue was the pillows. They were too hard and we woke up with a neck ache. Besides that this is all 5 stars .

I generally try to avoid self check in places because it's a bit of a hassle with the online identity verification and all that but this place is worth it. Everything is newly renovated and charmingly decorated. A real effort has gone into making this place feel homey and comfortable. There is even a first aid kit!

This place is so beautiful and fun! We will be taking our parents here for a surprise trip before summer is concluded. Absolutely stunning and the staff was so great. Rapid responses and super helpful!

My family of three, along with our small dog, stayed at the Anchor Inn for a weekend getaway and had a wonderful experience. We stayed in the Lucky 13 unit, which features a comfortable king bedroom and a pullout sofa bed. My daughter prefers sleeping on her air mattress, which actually worked out perfectly because it took up less space and allowed us to relax together on the sofa and enjoy family movie nights. The unit was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. I especially loved the kitchenette—the vintage-style refrigerator and stove are absolutely adorable and add so much character. The design choices throughout the unit are thoughtful and charming. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were surprisingly spacious. The air conditioning worked great, which was especially appreciated after spending time outdoors. While the property is not directly on the beach, it is centrally located and just a short ride away. The owners have thought of everything for beach days, providing bikes, beach chairs, and towels for guests to use. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend the Anchor Inn. We would definitely stay here again.

A great place to stay on Sanibel! We loved the bikes and used them to ride all over the island (they have baskets which is also helpful). The beach is <1 mile away and less 8 min bike ride. The rooms are well decorated, updated, and good for a short stay. We did find someone else's shorts under the bed and a few of the dishes weren't clean, so a little more attention needs to be put on cleaning, but overall the unit was well kept! It was nice to have a pool - the pool was quite hot and not really refreshing, but to be expected of a pool in the sun in Florida in the summer. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others!

The place is so cute and very clean. It smells really nice the moment you enter. Everything is new and comfty. Staff answers quickly which is great! Little bugs but it’s from the outdoors not the place.
