This is the second time we stay at the Santa Maria Inn. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff at the front desk and bartender at the bar were very friendly and welcoming. When we come back to California for a visit, We will definitely stay there again🙂

Everything was as expected

Great place. Loved it

It is priced right, and for the money it is a great place to stay. It is clean, but there were several things out of order such as the heated spa. If you decide to stay here, choose the tower over the older Historic section. The rooms are big, and the bed was acceptable, but I've had better. The pillows were sub-par in my view. One thing that kind of irked me, is to check in before 2:45 you have to pay a fee of $30. I've stayed at my share of hotels and motels, and my experience is they either tell you they have a room and let you check in, or tell you that your room isn't ready and let you know when it is. This is the first time a hotel has made me wait if I wasn't willing to pay a fee.

Thank you for everything

I loved everything about the hotel

It was an okay experience. Our room felt like a motel 6 but the hotel itself was decent.

Very old musty hotel. Very neat if wanting to visit as a museum. Santa Maria in general seems to have some sort of sewage smell, but for some reason it was extremely offensive and noticeable in the hotel and in the back area by pool. I’m glad the temps were lower at night because just turning on the a/c or fan in the room blew extremely strong mold smell so we didn’t use it. I was worried about opening the windows to let the other sewage smell into our room. The air vent in the bathroom was broken and bathroom gets wet and steamed up fast. Also the water smelled moldy too and we would not drink the water and bought bottled water for the room. Cool history and apparently it’s haunted but would not stay here again.

Very nice and clean. Staff helpful

Beautiful historic place with suites available on the top floor for visits with the whole family.

The staff was super kind & very informal. Our room was in the Master Suite & it was very clean & lots of space! The only minor issue was the balcony doors don’t lock properly & the toilet is a bit noisy but it wasn’t a big problem. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

The tower rooms are spacious and clean and pretty nice. I requested a microwave for the room and they brought it up promptly. The only thing that I found puzzling was that they had no towel racks in the bathroom (but plenty of space to install some.). They only had a couple hooks on the back of the door. Otherwise, very pleasant rooms.

The hotel had great character, the staff were nice and helpful and the room was very clean. Thank you!

Great central location in Santa Maria. The room was clean & comfortable. It’s an older hotel with older room amenities, such as the walk in shower in our room was awkwardly designed, so was challenging to take a normal shower. Bathroom very small with limited space. Old school wall AC water cooler worked fine, but very loud. Our windows looked out to a patio where other guest could walk by, so had to keep shades closed for privacy.

The room was clean and the new flooring is a great improvement.

The restaurant food was excellent with a great happy hour.

Esta estilo Victorian, bonito no nuevo pero original, la recamara bien amplia

The only thing was the restaurant was not open for breakfast on weekdays. (believe it was only open weekends for breakfast). Otherwise everything was good, quiet & comfortable.
