Quality Inn & Suites Santa Maria

The hotel was good. It was a walking distance to the stores. It was in the middle of everything. Breakfast was ok. Staff were friendly and parking was nice and free with stay. The room was clean and roomy but needs a little more update.

Room was clean and spacious. We got in late and left early so I can’t speak to much more than that. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was super crowded and the layout could use improvement so people aren’t bumping into each other constantly. But the food was typical options and the sole worker was working hard to refill everything as fast as she could.

The lady who made and restocked the breakfast area on Sunday, 8/16/26, was SO friendly, helpful, and very kind! The hotel itself is just okay. I was worried about my car in the parking lot adjacent to the alley. The rooms haver very little sound proofing. It's very noisy with the street traffic, all conversations in the hall and courtyard are audible, and lots of noise between rooms (i.e., showers, etc.).

The outside landscaping is really nice, lots of colorful flowers n green grass The room was musty should have not stayed or asked for a refund or ? I had to come home and wash all my clothes whether I used them or not including my luggage they all retained that nasty musty smell. I dont know if it was their air conditioner or what? curtains? No exhaust in restroom. The ceiling fan had no pullstring to lower the helicopter speed on that thing.And the fact that i have asthma isnt helpful. Honestly, the health department should check that out. It cant be healthy breathing that in.The furniture was old. The chair i sat is dropped down (pit). The bathroom door had a Crack in it which apparently had Ben repaired before. A tiny dead roach in bathroom. Don't know what i was thinking!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. We booked for 3 days and were a little disappointed that the breakfast items were the same each day. There was a good assortment so you didn't have to have the same things everyday if you didn't want too.

Garden courtyard Outdated and mismatched furniture and decor. Noisy refrigerator. Dark closet and bathroom areas. Street noise.

We booked the Quality Inn in Santa Maria completely last minute while driving down the freeway. We made the reservation and arrived about 20–25 minutes later & from the moment I walked through the door, the experience was wonderful. The gentleman at the front desk greeted me with, “You must be Amy!” He was an absolute deligh….friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. I actually asked if he was the owner because of the pride he took in the hotel. He said unfortunately he wasn’t, but that he treats the hotel as though he is and it absolutely shows! He asked if we preferred upstairs or downstairs. I said upstairs, then jokingly added that I’d love the best room he had. He gave us a great newly renovated room on the second floor overlooking the pool and close to the lobby. He even came out from behind the front desk, walked me into the courtyard to personally show me where our room was, and then pointed out the dining area for breakfast. That kind of genuine hospitality is hard to find! Our room was clean, fresh-smelling, nicely renovated, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast the next morning was another pleasant surprise. The food was wonderful, and the woman taking care of the breakfast area was an absolute delight, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. What started as a random, last-minute stop turned into a really great experience. The staff truly made the difference.

I was not able to stay even though I paid In full for 2 nites stay, I did not have a major bank card for the security deposit, as my account had been compromised and I was awaiting my new debit card! Quality Inn staff was unwilling to except cash for the deposit, they did 4 weeks ago, but not now, ax I was soo rudely told by the female manager!! She needs a new job!!! I’ll NEVER STAY AT QUALITY INN SANTA MARIA EVER AGAIN!!

Everything was great, beautiful property.

Simon at front desk was very helpful , as was the cleaning staff . All very clean and well kept up . Pool was taken care of . Hot tub had a lot of bubbles which was a bit odd . But spot felt safe and cared about !

Great customer service, the breakfast was good & the young lady that works it is always filling up what is needed i noticed that & it's a plus, thank you! The blow dryer in the rest room, Thank you for having it but took me forever to dry my hair. Also just to mention I heard water coming up from the bath tub which i though was crazy but seems like when another room is showering that happens must be normal.... ?

Clean room, great friendly staff at front desk and breakfast room. Quiet and secure. I would stay again. FYI this is a two story venue without an elevator.

Completely fine for a quick stop on our road trip. Clean. Quiet. It was nice to have grass and a big open space outside the room. Breakfast was simple but good for an early launch.
