Carlton Oaks Lodge, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Property was ok. It’s very quiet if you don’t get anyone in the room on the floor right above you. Everything is clean with exception of spider webs on the ceiling.

Our stay was great, however the shower did have an issue.

So usually the front desk was not staffed and the rooms were a little outdated. When I used the pool it had a suspicious item in it but no one was at front desk. Overall the hotel was ok and the value was good

I have stayed here a few times and I have been greeted by Donald with such kindness the last 3 times. He makes such we are comfortable in the room we are given and informs us on local events, which is very helpful!

First of all, I stated in the reservation that I needed a room that could accommodate someone in a wheelchair. And according to the front desk, because I did not use the word "accessible", i was given a standard double bed room. The person at the front desk was very dismissive, rude, and seemed unwilling to carry on a conversation. I will be going somewhere else next time. I need to make a reservation for a visiting family member.

Beds were a little firm. Other than that the hotel was great.

Peaceful stay for 3 young girls but main door to our room had to be slammed in order for it to latch we came back to the room a couple times and seen we left it open. Spiders kept popping up throughout the stay in our bed, bathroom, and sink we finally looked up and cobwebs were pretty much everywhere on ceiling. Other than that would stay again due to great scenery and amenity’s provided just a heads up if those things bother you.

Large clean room, restaurant and bar on site. Super comfortable bed and great shower! Decor a little dated.

This used to be a PGA stop, it’s an older property that would be great for a golf trip weekend with your buddies. Old school feel.

I was here for work. It is a nice place with clean rooms.

Since the accommodation is located on a golf course, the air was fresher than a regular hotel. We had a comfortable stay with the kids, were able to cook our own meals, and the staff were very friendly. I plan to stay here again for my next family visit.

Nice place overall. Well maintained.
