Rodeway Inn Santee San Diego East

The room was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I love the location and Santee, CA has excellent restaurants and food places. Mary's Donuts are outstanding and Estrada's Mexican food has huge burritos that are so delicious!! Santee Lakes are great for walking trails and also has fishing and paddle boats. Coming back to a nice hotel room and being able to relax and recoup is very nice. I love all the open cabinets for storage and organizing. Next time we are back in this area we'll definitely stay here again. (Actually, this is our 3rd time staying here! ❤️)

The room was clean. New carpet and bedspread. The sink was cracked, so that brought my overall rating down a star . Would have liked 4 towels rather than 2, as they are small. A/c worked super good for our 90+ temperatures.

staff exceptional and helpful lots of information

A pretty basic hotel. Clean but no frills. No in room coffee and the like. The staff is friendly and everything is clean and maintained, quiet and no road noise.

Superb service (never enough coffee, but that's just me). It was a very busy week in the area (Comic Con) and I had to move rooms when I extended my stay and they were amazingly helpful!

Staff were welcoming. Shower water flow was so shallow all the time, when I asked about it the staff said it's CA law, I use hotels all the time and I never faced this water issue in any of the hotels. Uncomfortable Bed matters. Room is so small. AC is weak and when trying to control the temperature its stay the same. Coffee machine was not working. Disappointed.

Know that they converted smoking rooms to nonsmoking but the air conditioners still smell of smoke, they should be changed out. Also, coffee in the morning could be a bit better - real cream rather than powdered? Otherwise, this was a great stay.

The hotel stay was amazing. Stephanie at the front desk was super helpful and accommodating. I missed my flight and couldn’t reach the day I was suppose to. I had non refundable booking but even then she moved my booking a day ahead.

It was in the right location for us! It was clean and comfy! Had to go get a car air freshener to get past the stale smoke smell and the cleaning solvents used to clean and cover up the smoke, in our room!

Good experience not new but well maintained and great staff

Management and all other staff went over & beyond, great customer service in a nice quiet community. Cleanliness of premises & rooms were 5 stars.
