Ms. Peggy was just amazing. She made us feel so welcome as we were visiting our daughter who is going to college. When she met our daughter, she told her that if she ever wanted to come by and talk, that Ms. Peggy was there for her. So warm and caring. We will never stay anywhere else when we visit.

I thoroughly enjoyed my week-long stay at the Home 2 Suites Sarasota SRQ. The entire staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, was absolutely top-notch, friendly, and helpful throughout my entire visit.Check-in was incredibly quick and seamless, which set a great tone for the trip. My room was immaculately clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Sarasota area!

Woke up to to bugs crawling on our luggage and all over the counters. My daughter had bug bites on her legs. Not sure

The property looked run-down from the moment we arrived. Our room wasn't properly cleaned, and the bed was broken, so we had to request maintenance to fix it. The bathroom also didn't feel clean—I didn't even want to take my shoes off, even in the shower. To make matters worse, we found a live roach in our room that night. Most of the staff were pleasant, except for an older woman who always wore pink (I believe her name was Pam, or something similar). She repeatedly yelled at my kids for no reason, even when they were simply taking one packet of Nutella at breakfast. When we asked for disposable utensils because we didn't feel comfortable using the room's silverware after finding a roach, she refused. Her attitude made us feel unwelcome throughout our stay. Hospitality is about making guests feel comfortable and respected, and unfortunately that was not our experience. Between the cleanliness issues, the roach, the broken bed, and the poor customer service, I would not recommend staying here unless the property significantly improves its cleanliness and guest experience.

I had a very nice stay at this hotel. The property was extremely clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition. The staff did a wonderful job and were very professional and helpful throughout my visit.My only complaint is the breakfast area. The space is quite small for the number of guests, leaving several people standing around waiting for a table.Overall, it is a great place to stay, but they definitely need a better setup or more tables for breakfast.

Clean room, great staff, good breakfast.

Super clean and the gym was in perfect condition. The time for breakfast. Ends to early. It should be until 10:00 am.

The outside road noise was completely unexpected. It made a good night of rest difficult. This was a letdown!

Way overpriced for what it is and compared to other hotels in the same area. I was disappointed. Breakfast ends at 9 and that seemed early.

Poor customer service. Front desk/check in not friendly. Lobby area and rooms had moldy smell. Unlike other ahone 2 Suites, Breakfast was until 9am , I went down about 15 minutes before 9am and they were closed
