Great location to go to SPAC. Walked back in 25 minutes

Not many dinner options

That being said, both the sink and shower drains were clogged in our room and the pillows were pretty flimsy. The refrigerator is out in the open and was quite loud when it started up. The thermostat was a bit fussy, but you probably won't stay here over 2 days when it hits 98 degrees like we did. The K-cup machine in the room was nice. Again, if we came back to the area, we would stay here again. Note: SPAC was a walk of just over a mile, and the downtown restaurants were about the same. There's not too much closer.

Good stay , nice walk to SPAC

There were 2 main reasons for which I've booked this hotel : though not in downtown Saratoga Springs, it was fairly close to SPAC where I've attended a festival ( 7 min drive ) plus it was pet-friendly ! All employees were super friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very nice, clean, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I will start with saying Roseann who filled in at the front desk and also worked the restaurant area was absolutely wonderful, kind, welcoming, and efficient and really seemed to carry much of the operation on her back. I don't really know how to say this without being politically incorrect, especially because I believe in tact and sensitivity, but the two people working the front desk lacked the social cues and hospitality that was necessary to work the front desk at the hotel. They were more concerned with the tasks in front of them or taking care of personal business than they were stopping for two seconds and saying "hello, welcome, how can I help you and can I answer any questions?" I say this not because I'm a patron who thinks that service workers should bow at my whim, but because I've worked in hospitality and at a hotel front desk, and I found my encounters with them off-putting but that they perhaps should be taken with a grain of salt. Housekeeping staff were sweet as sugar, but a lot was missed when cleaning my room. There was a pizza grease stain by the microwave from previous guests, there was Saratoga water bottles left over in my fridge from pervious guests, and the shampoo fell out of the fixture on the wall and was on the floor in my shower when I got in. The toilet gurgled for most of the first night and wouldn't flush, but that eventually fixed itself. The property had potential to be great, but a lot needs fixing and addressing.

No body wash was in container. We were told to go to front desk to obtain one.
-
Breakfast was poor and not included. Staff during the day was not very helpful.

A/C was not working properly. Very uncomfortable.

Staff were fantastic. Our trip was short but very nice.

Great spot, location, and clean rooms for the value.
-
Great location in walk8ng distance from Spac! Friendly staff, clean, and economical!
-
Staff pleasant. Room large and clean. Comfortable bed. Coffee maker worked on arrival but not after. They didn’t spend a lot on room decoration but hot water and welcoming shower was appreciated. Perfect for one night stay and walkable access ( if you’re a practiced walker) to SPAC and downtown.

Reliable and classic Hilton Garden Inn. Super close to SPAC which is what we traveled for. 10/10 hotel.

I felt this hotel was overpriced for what I got. They had to change my room because the dark window shade was broken and wouldn’t open at all. That room was dark and depressing. I didn’t understand how to raise and lower the temperature in my room. The staff member’s solution was to have me just reave it off which was not a good solution. I also didn’t understand how to turn on the fan in the bathroom. The staff says I didn’t need to turn anything on as it is on all the time and just quiet. I didn’t like not having control of the fan in the bathroom. Also there was no pen or pencil and no pad of paper in the rooms.

Loved the hotel, but the hot breakfast was a disappointment. No one told us that we could order. So we paid for a breakfast that was less than a Comfort Inn!
