This Hotel was very nice, conveniently located right off I-95. The staff was polite and welcoming. The room was perfect. I was traveling with a senior dog that had mobility issues and they were very accommodating. I was able to get a room on the first floor close to an exit. I will definitely use them again. Thank you

My issues with the hotel are small and should not deter from the overall experience. Issue 1 - the buttons for the elevator are strangely placed at the side of the door not on the front panel where there is a button but does not work. The front desk should mention that rather than have guests go back and ask. Or put a sign on the elevator. The luggage carts are awkward. the base where you put your luggage is shaped in a "V". It was not big enough to hold all of my boxes, bags, and suitcase. Also, it was difficult to manuver.

It was comfortable and easy to access from I-95 in Savannah. There was a decent choice of places to eat across the street from the hotel. It needed a coffee maker in the room. I prefer not to get dressed to walk down to the lobby for coffee in the morning.

I liked the room and the room size. The complementary breakfast was a plus Before we even arrived, I received a call regarding a hold being placed on my account because of the condition of the room, which was very concerning and unusual. We had booked the room under the understanding that payment would not be required until we arrived. However, the man who called stated that we were required to pay for incidentals before our arrival and insisted that this was standard hotel procedure. I have stayed at hotels many times, and I have never been required to pay incidentals before even arriving at the property. Typically, incidentals are handled at check-in, so the request felt suspicious and gave me the impression that it could potentially be a scam. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve once we arrived. The staff was rude and unprofessional. One staff member questioned us about where we were from and was unnecessarily rude. When we arrived, he did not greet us or acknowledge us at all. Although he was not officially on duty yet, he was standing at the front desk, and completely ignoring arriving guests was extremely unprofessional. To make matters worse, we were greeted by roaches when we entered the room, and we ended our stay by finding another roach in the shower. This was completely unacceptable and made us extremely uncomfortable throughout our stay. Between the questionable payment request, the rude and unprofessional staff, and the poor condition and cleanliness of the room, this was a very disappointing experience.

No issues. I love the Avid (IHG) brand and usually try to find one wherever I am traveling. So far, never a bad experience including this last stay in Savannah.

The location was convenient. The staff was courteous. The hotel was very clean. Great all around.

Room was clean and comfortable but could use more seating for eating meals.

I wish breakfasts were later. But that’s any hotel. Only a few run it til 10:30. We are driving and typically late arrives and late sleepers.
