Staff issue

Everything was good enough. When checking in, the front desk staff was away and it took more than 7mins for someone to come and check us in. This was the same when checking out. The front desk staff was taking a smoke break when 2 people other than myself were at the desk waiting to check out. My husband informed them people were there waiting to at the desk. Since people were already waiting, we placed our luggage in the car. I walked passed the staff to go back in to check out and waited 5 minutes before one of them came in from outside. It’s not the worse thing to happen, but it does speak to customer service as a whole.

We only stayed one day but the overall hotel lobby and rooms was kept up very well

Nice facility. Clean They had lost tv’s due to lightning weeks before. Some had not been replaced. Receptionist told us she had no way to know if they had been replaced. Our room had no tv. The next morning the lady at desk said they had a chart in computer that told them the rooms that tv’s had been replaced. They was no body wash in shower and the trash bags were laying across the trash cans.

Staff was very good. They were having problems with cable from a lightning strike two weeks prior. It would have been nice to have been offered a partial refund since there was no tv available in the rooms. Upon reading this review, you could still do that! Hint, hint!

It was a lovely stay from the room layout to the service.

How friendly the staff was. How clean and near the rooms were. How I booked my room online and paid but still got charged more when I checked in.

Front desk staff were helpful with my modification of my stay. There was no TV and phone connection at the time of my stay, which caused me to modify my stay for the original booking.

My boyfriend and I traveled to Savannah for the first time celebrating my birthday which was July 4th. The front desk attendant told us that lightening had struck the building and caused the tv to go out. So it was an option to continue our stay or not. When we went into our room everything was nice except the tv not working at all. It didn’t even turn on and honestly they didn’t really care to accommodate us. We talked to other individuals and they had the same problem. Didn’t have use of a tv while staying there for the weekend. Also, housekeeping can do a better job cleaning the bathroom it was urine left on the toilet and hair all in the shower disgusting. Breakfast was ehh they should have better options. Overall I did like the room and all the amenities that come with it. The hotel was very convenient to River Street and the beach. I probably won’t book to stay here again.

The room was very clean and nice. However, the breakfast wasn't particularly tasty.

I suggested the use of GFI breakers and outlets.

The television never worked, and the views weren't much at all, it was literally right next to the highway.

Things look newest!

We got a corner room and both TVs didn't work the whole stay, we told the front desk and the lady said it happens when it rains and that was all. Though hours after the rain stopped the TVs still didn't work in the room and the TVs in the dining hall did, so it was odd. Other than that it was nice.
