Best Western Grand Victorian Inn

Clean large room. Nice lounge. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed.

We will be staying again for overnights when going to the horse races. 7 minute drive is better than 47 minute driver. The place was a definite good decision

The stay was horrid. Our rooms a/c unit was busted in 100 degree weather. When I went to say something to the front desk, there was someone already there for the same thing and said the lady gave him major attitude. The pool was closed for more than half our stay, and when it was finally opened, I stepped in chewing tobacco by the far ends ladder. The bar that was supposed to be open from 5 to 9 (4hrs) was hardly ever open. Had to drive down the road to get a good drink after a long trip. There was mold in our bathroom above the shower, and the complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash onto the bathroom wall were empty. The bathroom sink was super slow draining, and our room's door wouldn't lock or latch, you could just push it open. Highly don't recommend staying at Best Western in Sayre PA.

Rooms were dirty and smelled bad. Refrigerator did not work, trash from previous guest left in bathroom, floors were disgusting. Would not stay here again. Only positive was there was a decent breakfast.

The Hotel was very clean. However we stayed on the second floor and it smelled like old smoked cigarettes in the hallway. The room had a pet oder as well. The rug definitely needs to be replaced 2nd floor hallways and rooms. Pool needs to be redone.

The room itself was just average, and the breakfast offerings were quite limited and did not meet expectations. With better upkeep and more accurate representation of amenities, this property could improve. However, based on our experience, it did not provide the value we expected.

Broken AC all week. Constantly needed to keep telling staff.

NO EARLY CHECK-IN, even though there are rooms available

It was a quiet stay. No bed bugs. We stayed in this hotel less than 8 hours.....Upon walking in the lobby smelled of chlorine. One of the elevator doors didn't close all the way. Our room was stuffy.There was no air circulating because the system was off. There were big cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling along with the spiders that made them. Carpet was dingy and worn out. Holes and scratches with patch jobs on the wooden doors. Cobwebs and dead bugs from the even larger spiders on the entrance of the building. In no way was this what was described or depicted in the photos. Not a 3 star hotel, I'd barely give it a 1. The only reason I'm giving the rating I am is due to there being no bed bugs.

The pictures on Travelocity were definitely not representative of the actual rooms. They looked as though they started to update them, but gave up. The hallways and room smelled moldy and musty. The sheets were stained, as was the bathtub. There were clumps of hair floating in the pool. The hot tub was not hot, and was in desperate need of repair. Breakfast was cold (we got there not long after breakfast started). Upon checking in, the desk rep was not present, had to wait at least 15 minutes for her to show up. Would appreciate a refund. Will not stay here again.

Everything . From the moment I stepped into the facility, I felt relaxed and welcomed. Options for breakfast were great especially the option to make WAFFLES No issues

Pretty clean. Just stayed a night was in town to visit family. For what I spent idk if it was worth $120 a night. But it was okay. Staff was nice room was clean, parking was free. Can’t complain

Front desk staff very helpful

The bedding was old and uncomfortable. The shower didn't work well and had little to know shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The pool and hot tub were just gross. Long hairs in the pool and a sock. People there using the pool seem to know the staff and I question if they even had a room since they seem to be from the area. They brought there two young kids who were in the pool and hot tub with full diapers and also puked and or pooped in the pool. They left and about two minutes later we were told the pool was closing because of the puke or poop in the pool. The only reason I picked this hotel was so my daughter could use the pool. Very disappointing. I will not return.

Our room was clean and the staff were very kind and helpful. There was abundant parking and the lot was well lit. Breakfast was nice but could have been warmer. Neither room key worked well but we eventually got them to work.

The smell inside the hallways and inside the room I stayed with kids was awful, towels and bed had hairs and were pretty old and smelly as well. The air conditioning is really old and not doing great job. The pictures not reflecting reality unfortunately. I don't recommend this place to stay.
