Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Scott/Lafayette

Great customer service, unfortunately there’s a smell of old, I found a cockroach in the bathroom, although I didn’t find any bed bugs I was scratching myself here and there, there were stain on the floor. Overall the place needs an improvement on cleanliness and get rid of that smell.

The hotel is convenient to the freeway. The property is clean and in good working order. The offered breakfast had a nice selection and good coffee. The room was well appointed but lacked a coffee pot. It did have a nice little fridge, microwave, a good-sized TV as well as a decent blow dryer. The beds were comfortable with good bedding. The bathroom offered shampoo/conditioner, and body wash pumps in the shower/tub combo. As we were extended stay, housekeeping ignored our room. We did not hang the "do not disturb" sign. Only on the first day did they throw out the trash and update towels. On our last night we asked for housekeeping service and did not receive service. The desk staff was very helpful and took care of any ask. The only major detractor was a string of interesting characters loitering behind the hotel. For the price, it was clean, safe and in a good spot for easy access to the freeway and downtown Scott, LA.

Nothing Everything. The customer service was horrible. The room smelt like mold and cigarettes and furniture was worn and torn up. They had a group of people standing by the entrance door smoking cigarettes

Room was clean and air conditioner worked well. It got pretty cool at night to sleep comfortably. The beds were a little fi but not bad. Was a decent stay for one night but the halls smelled kinda smoky or should I say "herbally"

The hotel was clean, not so friendly staff. I had to call front desk at 11:00 pm because of noise above our room. It sounded like someone was running up and down the hall, and throwing a ball around. We had to be up early. Front desk said they were going to look into it. It got quite for maybe 30 minutes and it start all over again, until around 2am then it was quite. We had to be up at 5am. I think it was disrespectful. I paid money just like everyone else. Checked out was a joke. I went to talk to the front desk person, handed him our room key and told him we were checking out. Never ask how was your stay or thank you for staying with us. Nothing! Again disrespectful we will not be staying again with yall. And will be making a complaint with corporate.

The hotel is older but was not dirty or at any time fid I feel unsafe. It did get loud at night like some people were having a party in the back parking lot but beds were comfy and air conditioner worked well.

The Staff was Awesome, especially the Black guy that work the night shift made me and my son nights very comfortable and the morning shift always greets with a smile I'll Be Back Not hott eggs with the breakfast they already have

Everything from the price to the room was up to par. My room wasn't big but had Everything i needed. Definitely will stay there again

I booked a “suite” to sleep 5 people. The first room they put us in had a queen bed a sofa sleeper. When the sofa sleeper was opened, it had crumbs. We told the front desk person and he moved us to a different room. It smelled musty and the AC worked, but was hard to keep it at a comfortable temperature. The room appeared clean but then a fake eyelash was found under the sheets under one of the beds.

Everyone very warm and welcoming. Coffee on hand all day and cleaners do a great job on the rooms and communal areas. It's not 5 star but you get what you pay for. I'd still come back and stay again so it's a Lack of gym, although advertised on website has gym, there was no gym there

Easy access to all the areas I needed to visit. Close to food and gas locations. Comfortable room.

Room was very clean and the bed and pillows smelled good and were very comfortable. I was also pleased that it was very quiet. Thanks I would have liked beacon or sausage and eggs.
