I had a great experience staying at Hotel Solaya in Scottsdale! The location is one of the best parts of the hotel — it’s right in Old Town Scottsdale, so there are tons of restaurants, bars, shopping, and things to do within walking distance. Very clean and the amenities were also really good!

    Highly recommend

Hotel is quite large and spread out- there are some signs of age here & there but overall pretty good, The pool was very dirty the first day there but they cleaned it the next day so much better. All the staff at the pool were great- service for drinks & food was very good. The food at the poolside was very good as well. All in all a nice place, with a few touch ups here & there.

First, it was nearly impossible to reach anyone at the hotel before check-in – no one answered the phone. Then, finding the place was a nightmare. Even Google Maps and Apple Maps couldn't figure it out, and the hotel doesn't provide any instructions to help guests navigate there. The room itself was just okay. The bathroom lighting was confusing – no way to control individual lights – and the toiletries were minimal at best. No slippers either, which for a hotel at this price point felt like a strange omission. Breakfast was also a hassle – it was located at the other end of the building, and there was no menu available in the room or any information about room service. Overall, it wasn't a terrible stay, but for what I paid, I expected much better communication, clearer directions, and a few more basic amenities. Disappointed.

Nicely updated property with fresh and modern rooms, lobby, etc. The staff was terrific BUT they were not able to get the pool cleaned for the entire week we stayed. Apparently there was a broken pump situation that was already a problem and a local dust storm that probably shut down the pump in the first place. The pool was a muddy mess for the first half of our stay and slowly improved but still dirt on steps and water cloudy the day we left. I didn’t get to swim once during 108+ temperatures and the pool was the prime amenity for us. Some guests were swimming towards the end of our stay but doubtful situation would pass any health inspection. I was given some consideration for the inconvenience but nothing could make up for ruining our vacation.

It was beautiful, quiet and peaceful even being in the heart of oldtown Scottsdale. Highly recommend and would come back

We loved the pool party and dj and had so much fun. Isabella was our cabana girl and she was soo sweet and amazing. The room was clean and neat but the outside of hotel could use some updates.

I will definitely be back. This is my second time visiting. It’s a place. Don’t look too far, but not too close either. It’s been convenient of times.. I enjoy my stay there, and it’s close to places I like to go to…

My room was not properly cleaned.
