HYATT house Scottsdale/Old Town

There was no phone in the room, I wasn’t able to get clean towels for a day. The microwave didn’t work and the water was always hot so i brushed my teeth with hot water

The property is in a great location for old town Scottsdale. As it’s one of the more budget friendly options, there were some items that could possibly be improved. The rooms themselves were spacious but the plumbing and hvac made noises throughout the night that can make it difficult for light sleepers to get a good nights rest.

Broken AC in one of the rooms in 110 degree weather. Reserved two rooms and called prior to ensure they were close by. Was told they were across from each other. Instead they were in different buildings. Staff couldn’t care less. No one can use the pool or hot tub during the day because of the extreme heat and the pool closes by 10 when it’s down to 95 degrees. Stairs only hotel as well. So, If you want to have heat stroke and be met with rude staff this is the place for you.

We had two rooms and stayed 3 nights. I called in advance and spoke with a front desk clerk who assured me that the rooms were across from each other. When we arrived the rooms were in separate buildings. The front desk clerk acted like she couldn’t care less. One of the rooms had a broken ac in the middle of Scottsdale in August. When I told the front desk clerk, I was treated like I was bothering her. The pool closes way too early for being 110 all day long. The stairs only property is a nightmare when it’s 110 out. Massive changes are needed and a complete staff overhaul. The location is good but there are so many other options I would tell everyone to stay elsewhere.

What a great place to stay in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. The only drawback is the stairs to the second and third floor. If you make a reservation and need your room to be accessible then you need to request a first floor suite. If I’m ever back in the area I would absolutely book again.

Clean and comfortable room

The door to the room needs to be replaced, it was awful. We got service once and even that was not great. I did like the location and the full Kitchen in the room, that was great.

Amazing property amazing facilities great price amazing rooms. The only thing is is they will not give you back your deposit. I have been waiting almost a month and they have still not giving me back my deposit even though I left the room perfect.
