Everything was great. Would definitely come back!

The breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of food and polite servers who were always ready to help. The pool is small but very nice, and the fencing around it makes it especially good for families with kids. The location itself is very pleasant and convenient. It's right next to the bay and very close to NASA entrance. Unfortunately, our room had anissue, we discovered a bucket placed under the AC unit on our last day, and the carpet around it was soaking wet. This likely explains the unpleasant odor we noticed in the room — and even a bit in the hallway. The smell was our biggest complaint but didn't affected our stay. Hopefully this was a one‑off AC problem and not something affecting other rooms, because aside from that issue, the property has a lot going for it.

Old place, more of like a motel than a hotel
-
The Breakfast could use having a bit more variety

The corridor to the room had a moldy, musty smell. The room smelled moldy, and there was active mold inside the pictures on the walls. The eggs were..........I don't think they were eggs. It was something yellow that could possibly resemble eggs. The breakfast was nothing to write home about and I would have been better off going to Mcdonalds. Check in and check out was very smooth, the people were hospitable and nice, although there was very little if any interaction with staff. The property is clean, parking was excellent and close. Clean the mold from the rooms. It's not a terrible experience, but I would likely not stay here again since there are plenty others now that we know the area.

Awesome check in and staff
-
The property was good for the price.
-
The staff was very friendly, family owned.
-
The pool was very hot. The manager was very rude also says this is in Kemah, but actually in Seabrook and advertised to be able to see the water, barely!!

Clean room

We enjoyed our stay. It’d have been more awesome to have more breakfast options, especially on different days.
-
It was okay. The hot water is not all that hot, but big clean rooms
-
Breakfast was okay, no meat, little doughnuts didn't look fresh but otherwise okay

The hotel is old, run-down, and the owners clearly spend as little money as possible on it. You can feel this neglect everywhere. When I opened the fridge, water spilled out onto the floor. When I tried to close the inside door, the handle completely fell off in my hand. Also, even though the carpet looked newer, it was a dark gray color that made the room feel very sad and gloomy. The breakfast, which other people rated highly, was terrible. The eggs were made from cheap powder, the biscuits were the lowest quality you can find, and the gravy looked so bad it made me sick just to look at it. Even the bananas were totally black and old. To be fair, I will say that the staff did a good job cleaning, and they gave us fresh towels for the second night without us asking. The room was also large. However, those few good things do not make up for the rest of the experience. I will never stay at this place again. It is not worth the price or the high rating. Avoid this hotel and book one of the cheaper hotels nearby—they cannot be any worse than this one. I am going to complain to corporate Best Western customer service about this hotel. It is probably a private franchise, but it makes the brand look very bad. Avoid this hotel!

Room smelled of old carpet. The faucet ran all night. My husband didn't want to stay, but it was too late to find something else.
-
The hotel had a musty smell. One of the beds was tilting so like sleeping on a hill. Pool was dirty - my daughter cleared out some debris and frogs before using it.
-
Near our crabbing area and close to our restaurant of choice! The bed was like cardboard! The breakfast was inadequate. Eggs, gravy and biscuits for our main portion. Sausage and or bacon would have been perfect.
-
The breakfast was pretty good. Waffles were great, but eggs were a bit dry.
-
Very good

Clean room. Breakfast was delicious. Coffee was the Best!
