The room was exceptionally clean and the staff was incredible! We'll definitely be staying here again!

This hotel was cleaner and better than quality inn across the street but the beds are uncomfortable. We had stained sheets and a bathroom that was poorly repaired leaving superficial cosmetic eyesore. Our main complains were housekeeping and the breakfast. We intentionally stay at hotels that provide breakfast but were disappointed at the selection. There were fresh omelets available but outside of that only shelf stable items and waffles. Housekeeping was needed and when asked the schedule, we were told they come every other day and check in day doesn’t count. We had one service when we let the front desk know our room was good to clean. Next service date came around and nobody showed. We had to ask yet again. Language barrier prevented a full clean and we only got sheets and towels switched.

Very basic hotel. Our room was OK. There is a really really musty order. For some reason. It triggered my son's allergies. We had to move rooms in the middle of the night, but thankfully the lady at the front desk was helpful and she was not hesitant to help. However, the proper is OK there's nothing special about it if we went on a Saturday and we paid about $150 for it, but the hotel is probably worth a lot less than that if you ask me, I wanna say if you want a more decent hotel maybe you can look somewhere else but if you just want some place to sleep close to the boardwalk and I guess this one is OK

We had everything we needed and more.

The breakfast was very nice, omelets, belguim waffles, and all sorts of other items. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend.

Room and hotel are not properly depicted in photos. The hotel is run-down and musky. Breakfast was abysmal. Front desk clerk was not helpful regarding discrepancies regarding bill via Hotels.com and receipt given by Melrose.

It was friendly and clean, and I was able to get a good night's sleep.

The entire second floor smelled like natural gas/propane. The staff shrugged it off. Oh, and there was roaches and the air conditioning didn’t work.

Staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning unit was noisy. Swimming pool was cold.

The hotel was good, clean, conveniently located and the staff at check in was good.

Overall good stay. The location is perfect for Kemah and NASA adventures. The breakfast is pretty good. There was a toy in our room on the couch which makes me feel like the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. Also, our trash was not taken out so it was overflowing when we left. Despite those things, the value for what we paid was spot on.
