Cedarbrook Lodge

EV charging unreliable. 2 chargers for the entire property. 1 tesla, 1 type 1. Do not arrive on an empty battery and expect to be able to charge overnight. Otherwise, beautiful property and great stay.

The food is expensive, even relative to downtown Seattle and other major cities, but only average in consistency, quality and presentation. Likewise the service. While eating my $48 pork chop and drinking my $25 glass of Pinot I’m not really interested in listening to the bartenders discuss their tips from yesterday or their personal lives with each other. Additionally, being put on hold for five minutes just to request the shuttle from the airport doesn’t support the image or the price point. At $325 per night everything should be damn’ near perfect and on point. It’s not. On a recent trip I switched up and gave the Interurban Hotel a try, and it may be time to do so again. Different experience but more realistic with respect to matching the expectation. I’d hate to suggest Cedarbrook lower its pricing but perhaps raising its standards gets them back to the level that matches the $$$ signs, and back to the level at which I’m willing to pay for the Cedarbrook experience.

This was our first time staying at the Cedarbrook Lodge. The most convenient amenity is the shuttle from the Lodge to/from SeaTac. On the day we rode the link to downtown Seattle, we rode the shuttle to/from SeaTac and it was very convenient. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was clean and quiet.

We had such a great stay here. They let us check in early after we arrived WAY ahead of schedule. The place was perfect for our dog and had a great place for walking him. The food was great and the staff were so friendly. The bed was also good - which is the true test for me! It was an oasis near the airport.

Picturesque. Clean. Quiet and comfortable. EXCELLENT restaurant.

If I had to nitpick one small thing, it would be our arrival for dinner. We had made a reservation in advance, but when we arrived, the host desk was unattended for about 15 to 20 minutes. It appeared that the person handling the desk was also outside setting up and seating a larger party of seven or eight people. We understood that she needed to help those guests, and once she returned, she was very friendly and seated us right away. The only reason it seemed a little unusual was that later, after we were seated and had ordered drinks, we noticed two people at the host desk while things seemed quiet. It made us wonder if there could have been someone covering the desk while the larger party was being taken care of. This is truly a minor observation, not a complaint. It stood out because everything else at Cedarbrook Lodge was so well done and the level of service was so high. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. Cedarbrook Lodge came very close to being a perfect experience for us, and we would happily stay and dine here again.

My favorite hack for early flights out of SeaTac is staying here!

Amazing hotel, doesn’t feel like you are at an airport hotel. Surpassed my expectations. Really special.

I was sad I was only here one night. Beautiful property and is tucked away so you don’t feel like you’re right across of the airport.

Loved the family rooms in the lodge. Saves some $ and makes it see upscale/party time home.

Always a great stay at cedarbrook

Exceptional

The whole property was beautiful to discover, taking the meandering pathway from the chef’s garden to the spa. I wished we could stay longer but this was booked as a convient location from the airport where we arrived late in the evening. Our journey is taking us farther North but we booked another night before our returning flight home.

What an oasis! My friend and I had flights out of SEATAC and needed an airport hotel and I stumbled upon the Cedarbrook Lodge. The room was lovely, the grounds were beautiful, the snacks were delicious, and we met people from all over the world who all loved the place. We will definitely be back.

It was a wonderful stay! Dinner could not have been more exciting the first night watching a hawk swoop down and snatch a fish from the pond to the black friendly cat which is nice when you miss your own fur babies. Beautiful lodge I will stay here for my next visit to Seattle.
