Overall, it was a very good stay. We just felt that there were definitely some updates that should be in rooms. For instance, the toilets are child’s size and very uncomfortable to use, we had a suite with a king bed and a pullout sofa, and the sofa mattress was super thin with springs poking out, which also meant that the sofas terribly when you sat in it just some things that probably needs sprucing up

This was the first time I was informed by the hotel front desk that check out time was at 4 pm and we had to wait until our room was cleaned with no ETA when the room was going to be ready. I checked at 4 pm and our room was not ready. I checked again after 4:30, and the front desk called housekeeping and was informed our room was ready. If I didn’t check at the front desk, we would have been sitting there at the lobby for who knows how long. The rooms were not the cleanest. The only positive experience we had was the breakfast buffet which was great and the staff working the buffet were very nice.

The hotel is beautiful to be honest and we had a wonderful 3 day stay. The free breakfast was nice and we went for a swim in the pool and the hot tub was a nice plus. The staff was very good, took care of all of our needs. They were short handed while we were there but patience goes a long way, my kids and I were definetly not pushy and understood things do happen and they still took care of us in a timely manner as best as possible. The suite we stayed in was perfect, my kids were impressed adn so was I. Was very clean and cozy. The only issue I did have is that parking fees are separate from what we paid for our stay, and believe me it's not cheap and to not be able to find parking was frustrating, both nights we went out, when we came back we struggled to find parking spots for our small SUV and then to find spots to fit into. It took me driving and my son helping me from outside the vehicle to make sure we parked well without hitting the building pillars or another vehicle it was such a tight squeeze. Again our stay was wonderful but to have to pay for parking separately and struggle the way we did was frustrating and had my anxiety going through the roof just to park and I saw others struggling too. Parking should be free. Your add does advertise a parking fee but I didn't know what I would be paying until after I had already booked our stay. It was $51 per night with tax. I expected something like $20 a night.

This is a mismanaged hotel. The staffing is completely out of sync with the service that a hotel of this size needs to provide. This shows up in many ways, most notably the breakfast. It is chaos with no staff keeping things in stock. People are eating strewn about the lobby like hurricane evacuees trying to eat what they could find. The hotel makes no effort to keep things clean, it is quite disgusting. If you need something from the front desk or housekeeping you may need to ask 2-3 times. Nor do they even answer the phone. I understand that certain amenities do not come with the “budget” hotel experience. But this place charges luxury downtown prices and is barely able to even deliver a budget experience.

We stayed overnight and came for a memorial celebration of life for a dear friend who also used to work at the hotel. The attention to detail, friendly and helpful service was unbelievable, The staff assisting with the room set up, the bartenders, the front desk were all just amazing. The room was clean and comfortable and it meant so much to have this celebration of life here where we also knew Shawn was so adored and loved. Thank you for a wonderful memory and all of your kind and thoughtful service and attention throughout the afternoon, evening and this morning!

Balcony and breakfast was great

The breakfast was good. The parking for handicapped was good. However, the handicapped room had a few issues - no kitchen table & chairs to eat on, no ice maker in the fridge and the can opener was broken. The staff did bring us ice 3 times and brought us a new can opener. Our biggest concern was the handicapped shower which was quite slick and our mom almost fell. Also, the shower handle leaked profusely and both shower heads turned on and we had an hard time turning the shower heads off - it almost flooded the bathroom. The amount of water coming out of the shower heads was ridiculous! We would say room 524 needs some work - new fridge/ice-maker, table/chairs to eat on, and please fix the shower heads and put a non slip mat or strips in the bottom of the shower! Thank you.

Outstanding

The staff was very nice!! They were very helpful!! Our room was clean spacious and comfortable. The pool and gym were nice. The breakfast buffet was very good. I really like the huge and open lobby. I highly recommend this hotel.

Only complaint is that we arrived after the checkin time and still had to wait in the lobby a half hour before getting access to our reserved room.

Great hotel and service

Clean room, awesome breakfast, great food and drinks at the bar. Only negative experience was 1 elevator was out of order, during the World Cup. Would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was great! Staff were happy and welcoming! Rooms were clean. Did not use pool or hot tub. Enjoyed our stay and will book again!
