My Place Hotel - Shakopee MN

The elevator was broken and we had to haul our stuff up and down the stairs. Not optimal when you have have issues. We like the place, so we'll try again.

This property had an excellent location for us. Very close to the new amphitheater and Canterbury Park. The room was large and clean

The room was great! Loved the size of the fridge Checking in I tried to make small talk with the front desk clerk but he was a little stand-offish. Overall, great experience.

Great option for a trip to the area. Very clean and comfortable. Great staff. Will stay here again.

Exceptional

Option to store foods in fridge or freezer makes having leftovers convenient. AC works great! Love that parking is included and no hidden fees. Wish the beds could be a bit more comfortable, pillows and comforter were more comfortable. A good safety feature is the lockout at the entrance, will need to have your key card to access after hours to get in. Convenient location next to Mystic Lake Amphitheater.

Beds were low to the ground. But the room was spacious.

Very clean and very comfortable beds. Happy l with everything.

Great place to stay especially if you are going to see a concert at the amphitheater since there is a walking path.

Loved the location because it was within walking distance to venue. The bed was comfortable. The floors were really gross and the recliner felt wet. I laid all of our extra towels down because my feet felt gross and socks got gross so the towels were like a dry clean path while we were there. Great other that the floors feeling sticky and damp.

Super dirty room - would not stay here again. The floors were filled with dirt and the bed was not comfortable.

Not equipped to deal with high volumes from the new concert venue. Checking in at 3:30 the night of a concert was a nightmare. There was only one woman checking people in and she was fantastic trying her best, on the phone with her manager. A woman ahead of us had reserved two beds for four guests and given one double bed. They were “overbooked” and nothing could be done. By the time that was dealt with there were probably 20 people waiting to check in. I had booked two queens to also only get one double bed. I attempted to go back to check in but the poor woman working her butt off was just too busy to give me next steps as far as compensation. Decided to check back in reception after the concert to find there was no staff available at reception so I just never dealt with it because I was so annoyed. The room itself was fine. Proximity to mystic lake amphitheater could not be beat, with a great bar for food and drinks in easy walking distance.

It was our first time to a MyPlace hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms and room amenities. Full size fridge, full size coffee maker, cook top, sink- very nice if you were planning a longer stay. The coffee was delicious and a full pot! The only disappointment was the elevator was not working. We were fine with it but a huge inconvenience to others I am sure.

Room 105. AC unit kept us up all night. It kept turning off with a squeak then in a few minutes would start running again only to turn off with the squeak. Beds were fine, overall the room as clean. Location is good, staff at night was not friendly but morning staff was very friendly
