Harbor Winds Hotel

Great location, we were able to walk to dinner which was great! Staff was awesome, especially Kayden, who was working the front desk and bar when we arrived! The lobby and bar area was really nice, as was the public restroom just off of there. Great shower pressure! The beds were small but comfortable. There wasn't enough places to plug things in...especially phone charging areas. As with most hotels, the AC running on and off didn't help with sleep much.

Staff up and about in main area can be heard through out the night. No effort to lessen voice volume. Rookie problems for an expensive room

Location on the harbor The bathroom sink/mirror were outside of the bathroom. The AC was provided very humid air, that wouldn’t cool down

Although on the smaller side, the rooms were clean. Hotel did get new facelift in areas but the hotel still could use an upgrade to all the flooring. Continental breakfast for us was that coffee was nearly empty and looked like some food items were depleted by time were arrived, which was around 8am. Staff was very friendly and helpful and I would recommend staying at this hotel.

the new remodel; well done the toilet was crooked and rocked we were in room 209

The staff was the best, especially Jack working during the day and helping us be comfortable in the common areas, including putting out cushions on the new patio furniture. The room was very clean. Ned’s super comfortable. It is a little outdated and the bathroom is very small, but it worked for the two of us. The downstairs common area has recently been renovated is super cute, comfortable stocked with breakfast items in the morning and coffee and water throughout the day. It has beautiful views of the black river and games to play for young and old. We will be back!

I liked that we were able to open the window s to sleep with fresh air coming in. We turned off the A/C & slept very well listening to the channel outside. The hotel was very clean & had been recently remodeled. The breakfast provided was so-so. Maybe add some freshly cooked hard boiled eggs to the breakfast for some quick protein. Over-all, very nice stay!

Pros: Super friendly staff and comfortable beds. Remodeled lounge area was nice and the location to the pier areas was perfect. Cons: Room layout was challenging to get around the desk chair, plumbing from adjacent rooms was really loud, and the sink faucet leaked at the base. The room served its purpose and was adequate.

Nice and cozy rooms with everything you need. We had the pleasure of the water view. the street is quite loud, especially the bridge. A room away from the bridge would be preferred next time.

I'm bad with names I think it was Libby working behind the desk in the morning. A dispenser at the breakfast bar splattered and made a mess of the shirt I was wearing. Libby actually took my shirt and washed it a couple of times to get the stains out. Greatly appreciated. Give that young lady a raise and a 401k

So enjoyed the common area and watching boats and people fishing on river. Had no complaints

The location and staff

Sheboygan is amazing; we identified some great options for our next visit. Lacking on service and cleanliness. Since the place was nearly empty we would have enjoyed a water view but had to settle for the parking lot. The desk was not staffed so we couldn’t a napkin (empty) or toweling after we washed our hands.
