The Residences at Siesta Key Beach by Hyatt Vacation Club

All aspects of this place are amazing !

The ocean view was disappointing. Only one bedroom had an ocean view, and the balcony was on the side of the curved building, providing only a partial view. The balcony was right beside the neighboring building, exposed to loud air conditioning/mechanical noise. Ants or small unidentified bugs found in the kitchen. Housekeeping expectations were unclear. After we cleaned our dishes using the dishwasher, we returned to find the dishwasher had simply been run again. All the clean dishes were not unloaded. Later, we found dirty dishes were placed inside the dishwasher, which led us to believe dishwasher service was included. However, when we were ready to eat, we discovered the dishwasher was not run. And all the dirty dishes were placed at such a mess that we had to reorganize and reload everything. Our food was ready but with no clean dish to use. Imagine the surprise and inconvenience! We booked through Expedia and were not informed that the stay would not qualify for World of Hyatt points. The residence is attractive, but for the high nightly rate, resort fee, and total cost, we expected a more polished luxury experience.

Overall very nice experience. Disappointed with front desk and communication of trying to get an early check in. Resort was 50% occupied, my room was available for hours before.

Great place to stay with a family.

This place really had everything we needed great location on the beach and Patrick was always there to set us up with the umbrellas and chairs. We truly didn’t have to do anything. The rooms are beautiful and also had everything we needed. They even came and made beds and provided fresh towels daily. Can’t wait to go again.

Huge first class room, we had 3 full baths, 2 bedrooms, all top of the line appliances, beautiful spa showers, big living room and dining for 6. Fantastic!!! Would have liked a beach view room.

We just stayed a week here and everything was perfect! We had an ocean view three bedroom with den unit and it was spacious, clean, and beautiful. The property was extremely nice and the beach gorgeous! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to everyone! We will definitely be back. You will not regret your stay here 😊

Is just in front of the beach and I loved it

Our third time staying there! We love it! The only downside was the fact that no one changed sheets or wiped floors for the entire one week stay. Apparently it’s not a part of housekeeping list. We did get fresh towels though:)

Amazing place for a family vacation !

Our room was very clean and very nice with a great layout. The beach was beautiful, but unfortunately we booked late, so beach views weren't available. We faced the front of the hotel which was a poor view. The complimentary breakfast was not good and unavailable or late opening 2 of the 7 days we were there. I requested a discount due to this and they did give me one. There were resort fees added on that was not disclosed by Expedia and not in our initial total. They removed the beach chairs/umbrellas at 5:00 every day and the guy would actually start removing them as early as 4 if chairs were empty, so you felt pressured to leave, so forget trying to watch the sunset unless you sit on a towel on the sand. The location on Siesta Key was very good. It took us about 8 minutes to get to the village. Another downfall is that there are no good walking areas unless you walk on the beach. The pool was small for a resort and seemed cloudy/not that clean.

Loved our unit and its proximity to the beach. Grateful for the washer/dryer in the condo as well. Finding the property entrance was difficult. I would appreciate more obvious signage to find the main entrance and the lobby.

There was a love bag infested balcony and staff was not caring about our experience

breakfast was nice. Staff was pleasant enough, but not as personable as staff is typically at Hyatt Vacation Club. Room clean and spacious and well supplied with all we needed.

More hotel, less resort feel, and on-site food options were limited but good. Gym was basic.

It was a fantastic and beautiful property among the best I’ve stayed in on vacation. However, I wish they cleared the beach daily of the seaweed like the public beaches did and sprayed for the love bugs because both things made it difficult to take full advantage of the ocean and property and its amenities respectively.Apparently, early May is peak for the Sargassum seaweed and love bugs. The pool chairs, patio, game room, fire pit and other public places were fully covered with bugs some days so we couldn’t even use them.
