Its a historic building but, the way the pool is built is nice! It was a good smaller area!

Clean room, nice hotub/pool, and convenient to Mount Rushmore.

Easy to get too. Close restraunts and gas stations. The hot tub didn't have the high jets on, but they explained why.

The pictures online do not represent the current state of the hotel. Very outdated and dirty. The hot tub does not have jets and smelled like vinegar instead of chlorine. TV in the room was outdated and had a remote that did not work. Staff did help with switching the remote. Noises all night between the air conditioner, water pipes, and the freeway nearby.

This hotel needs a renovation. The carpeting was black with dirt and grime from many years of use. The sink in the room- faucet leaked and stopper did not work. Toilet seat was loose, when you sat down it moved sideways. A positive was the staff, who were friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered several options which was nice but the common area was outdated and dirty. Hopefully the management will make upgrades soon.

This property was a disappointment, I took the stairs instead of the elevator and the carpet was very soiled. The room was just mediocre

Staff was pleasant and helpful and warm (Honestly a huge pro these days) Room was very clean Pillows were good AC worked good Cons; The no trespassing sign and lack of carpet on the steps made it look decently run down Breakfast was mediocre No issues. Good for what it was.

Had a very nice stay. Very accommodating for our dog. Requested a room away from the elevator but close to the stairs.

They were doing major renovations on the first floor and it was tough to navigate our way to the pool through rolls of carpet, work supplies and beds leaned up against the wall. The front desk staff spoke very little and only one of our keys worked. The breakfast was Ok. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Not sure we would stay here again.

Bathroom doorframe and hinges were rusty. Pen and paper in room would have been nice touch. People dining next to us said staff had to come up and jiggle tv into action but it only got one selection after that. Some updates might be in order.

The rooms were humid even though it wasn't a humid day.

Pool and breakfast Gave us room and then said it was worng, gave us second room and it wasn't cleaned, then gave us a third room. It was loud. Never got my deposit back even though we cleaned up after ourselves and everything was kept nice and neat
