Ski Inn Taphouse Hotel

The bed was terrible. I’m a side/belly sleeper and this seems to be more common nowadays. It’s probably a super expensive bed but it’s memory foam and felt like sleeping on a brick floor.

On Main St., so a little noisy; but the activity/action was fun, too. You should know that this property is a little different than typical Hotel/Motel property with front desk/staff. This is fully automated, which overall worked well but a little frustrating for the technology challenged(as we are). Overall, really nice, clean room; had great meal at Tap House on first level, too; a good value and fun option for Sisters. Would stay here again! (PS, even though rooms are above restaurant, seemed well insulated and was quiet for us).

Great location if you don’t mind being on a major highway. While the owners have done everything they can to help combat noise, they have no control over the ever present traffic.

The location was ideal. We had close access to shops, eateries, history, deer, and a local event. We had a great place to have a burger right downstairs. My profile preference is for a quiet room, but I knew prior to booking that we would be right above a taproom. I heard music downstairs for a while, but it was not very loud and I kind of enjoyed it. The room itself was very comfortable and uber clean. The TV had a great selection of channels, and the shower! The shower was awesome! It would have been helpful to have a microwave. We could not bring leftovers up that would need to be reheated. In addition, the coffee maker was a pod type and there was only coffee available. I prepare for that by bringing teabags, but I had no way to heat the water. I could not figure out how to get the coffee maker to work without a pod. We will be back and next time I will bring my little travel hot water kettle and we'll be just fine.

Such nice clean rooms above a friendly tap house. I had a really quiet, good night sleep! Look forward to visiting again.

This was a lovely and convenient place to stay in the center of town. It is a boutique hotel so no staff for check in etc. As a senior who hadn't done b and b type rentals before I was a bit nervous about that, but they provide codes to get into your room and it was easy peasy. Room was big and new and clean and balcony amazing...I highly recommend.

Very modern and beautifully appointed, the room was fantastic with views of the Main Street and mountain. Never saw anybody as the check in was done over messages with a code supplied for the door. Highly recommended great value stay!!!

We had kind of a strange room with an ADA elevator in it with some open space that you could see down to the room below. It is hands off in terms of checking in. We were sent the code to our room but no room number and bar staff couldn’t help. We had to just put the code into all the rooms until one opened.

Really was a great place to stay, room was modern and updated, very clean with a balcony that faced the street. Convenient location.

Downtown Sisters just across from the Sisters Bakery. The nearby Famille restaurant was great and we got a 10% discount by staying at the Ski Inn.

The property is great and being able to drink my coffee outside in the morning while looking out over the city was wonderful. If I had to say a negative it would be that the notes about the room make it seem like you will be able to see the mountains better than what you can. We did stay when there were many wildfires taking place, but I do not think that was a main cause limiting the view. It was a great place to stay and I would absolutely recommend to stay there.

Great location. It was close to stores and restaurants which allowed us to walk every where. Comfortable bed, Will stay again.

Well appointed property and easy to access with clear instructions in advance of the stay. No issues, everything was very clean and modern cabin feel.

Beautiful and comfy room! Love being able to walk out on the balcony though you must know to unlock the BOTTOM lock. Luckily the careless entry made it easy to get in and out. If you’re using hotels.com you must check you messages the day before for code info. One thing to note - the cars passing at night sound so strange, as if a plane is going through the street. There’s a white noise machine and ear plugs there but just a heads up.

great stay, right downtown and close to everything.

The interior of our room is was stunning! Amazing amenities (large shower, beautiful bedding, as well as very comfortable mattress). The view from the patio was incredible and the convenience to downtown was fantastic, not to mention the great food downstairs! We look forward to our next stay at the Ski Inn Taphouse.

There was breakfast?

The hotel sent me a note on the day I was to check in and asked me if I wanted to cancel my stay because we were under a # 1 fire notice…and the fire could be coming are way so they offered me to cancel. I responded to the hotel and told them I would be cancelling the reservation. After I canceled I got a note from Lili (?) and told me I had to go through Booking.com to cancel. I tried for 2-3 hours trying to find a number for Booking.com and found a Canadian number, tried calling but the number rang “busy” very fast…which showed me it wasn’t working! I tried it three times! I texted the Booking.com several times…and only left a message with Lili at the hotel. If there’s no way to cancel a booking, especially when the hotel offers it…why don’t you have number someone I can call! I told my cc company not to pay the hotel fee because I did not stay in Sisters…but stayed near Sunriver! Please call me if you can…714-865-3951. Connie
