Ski Inn Taphouse Hotel

Contactless check in; ya right, you're only given email instructions 1 day before reservation (which are incomplete in my opinion). They emailed me (handicaped) the code for the door to the stairs, so partner had to go find someone to give him the code to the handicapped entrance, once in, then realized the elevator was up one level and manual as there was no button to bring it down, so another trip for partner to go find someone to help. When they arrived, they said we should have went in the room first and then went down the elevator to pick me up, what??? Obviously no communication happens here as I reserved the handicapped room and the elevator only goes to that room so if I was alone there would be no way to get into the room without using the stairs first. Same problem downstairs in the restaurant, ordered two brisket sandwich meals and waitress only heard one so I split mine with him until the second one came 30 minutes later. Then we wanted 2 beers to take to the room which the menu said was in the beer cooler. We looked through the cooler for bud or Coors that the menu said they had and were not there. Asked waitress if they had another cooler, no, so I said where's the Bud or Coors? She didn't know but offered us $8 a glass draft beer in glasses to splash all over on the way into the room. Oh, by the way, husband forgot the code for the handicapped access so had to go ask someone again! This all would have been funny but I was tired from travel just wanted to chill!

Contactless (no humans involved) check-in worked smoothly. would stay here again.

Clean and modern room with a comfortable bed. Conveniently located. Recommend the brisket from the Taphouse below. Was a bit worried about noise but didn’t have an issue sine the bar closed at 8pm. Overall a great value and would stay here again

Location can’t be beat! Great patio/deck, downtown, and a lovely bar/restaurant right below. Room spacious, big slower, and comfy bed. Some noise from hallway (adjacent doors opening and closing). Other somewhat annoying low frequency hum that appears to come from restaurant below - but persisted after closing(?) No street noise at all (our room faced the parking side of the structure). Pet friendly. Recommend, with minor reservations re: sounds — if you are a light sleeper.

There was a big fan or something that was motorized running and was quite loud. We thought it might be a fan from downstairs restaurant, but it would go on for a while and go off and then come back on periodically throughout the night.

Loved our stay it just wasn’t long enough.

The location was amazing. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do in town. There was not a thing we didn't like about our stay.

The room and deck are awesome! We had wine with people next to us on the fabulous deck. We used the discount for the restaurant downstairs which was fantastic! Nothing- it was perfect

Room size and deck were nice. Lift was cool. Good size shower. It could use a bigger table or an optional folding table. Otherwise, place was great.

Great location, very clean!

Great room and great location. The view was nice too! It was close to all the shopping and restaurants. It was easy to check in and check out. The only thing I noticed was that one of the parking spaces had a bolt sticking out of one of the bumpers that could have damaged any car parking there. We would love to stay here again in the future!

During my stay there was overnight sidewalk construction nearby (jackhammering, lights, backup alarms until ~3am), which impacted sleep—but that was clearly outside the property’s control. Otherwise, this would be a very quiet and comfortable place to stay.
