Packwood House

Convenient to restaurants, stores, waterfront and a short but lovely nature nearby. Our room was clean but the furniture was worn and chipped. The room was advertised as a having a "lakeview" but it did not. The view was completely obscured by trees. Very disappointing.

loved the location!! balcony was great! Make clear that check in is actually at the Sherwood - it was a bit confusing to start.

Location is perfect to walk around town. Had breakfast at the Sherwood and the waiter was just perfect. I traveled alone and he made time to have a conversation while I had a delicious breakfast. The French toast was amazing

Location Cold shower

The location was perfect. It is right across from the lake and near The Sherwood and shopping. The hotel is spotless and comfortable. No one was on duty in the hotel. The Sherwood manages it and is a block away.

The proximity to the Sherwood Inn made dining so easy. A complementary croissant and tea for breakfast was a lovely touch.. Everything about my stay was satisfactory.

Location was great! Wasn't aware you need to check in/check out at The Sherwood.

Carpet in room was badly stained. Really badly!

I liked that it was right across from the lake. There were stains on the couch and the curtains were very dated.

brushed away. I loved the queen bed and mattress. I wish I knew what make of mattress it was. Everything was good until I was informed the elevator was out of order on Wednesday afternoon. This curtailed my outside activities as I was on the 3rd floor. If I ever stayed again, I would definitely ask for a room on level 1 or 2. Perhaps the age of the elevator needs to be evaluated since out of service is a big inconvenience for 3rd floor guests. I really did appreciate all of the housekeeping help, and in particular the young ladies who helped me with luggage at my departure on Thursday morning.

Adequate and the view of the lake was suberb! For the price, the facilities. Quest Room, and - of coutse - the town was wonderful.

Conveniently located Bed’s uncomfortable and the tractor truck traffic is loud

Great location Accessibility with work going on and having to walk to Sherwood to get assistance every time.

Complimentary breakfast was simply a croissant (delicious) and coffee. Thoroughly enjoyed the jazz trio at dinner. Liked the elevator at Packwood House. No fan (or perhaps broken fan in bathroom). Telephone beeped most of the night and we couldn’t figure out how to fix it.

Conveniently located, nice amenities. No consierge onsite.
