Enjoyed my experience at the establishment always recommend

There were cocrach babies in the bathroom, mold on the bathroom ceiling (there's no fan in the bathroom), the floors were dirty, and the sink was backed up.

Just say no!!!

The first challenge was having to contact the front desk for a very nice and helpful young lady to enter our room and get the TV going because they were unable to leave the remote due to too much theft of TV remotes. I found that very odd. Unfortunately, the guest next to us was sitting outside his door on a cooler and when we approached our room and said hello. He completely ignored us making us feel very awkward. Once we got back from dinner, there were three or more crowds of people in the parking lot and hanging around the area as we went up the stairs to our room. There was also an exorbitant number of people at the pool and it became clear very quickly that we would likely not get any sleep. I would honestly never visit this hotel again.

I booked this room for 4 days, not once did anyone come to clean the room or replace the towels or take the trash while we were gone. The do not disturb sign was never used so there was no excuse. When I asked about it, I was told that they only clean every 3 days. I was there for 4 days and no one ever cleaned so that was a lie. Rooms should be cleaned every day or at least every other day. And there was a woman in the room next to me who yelled at my husband because I was in her spot, there are no assigned parking spots at a hotel, you park where you can. I will be booking again until they change these rules, because to only have the rooms cleaned every 3 days is disgusting. What if you have someone who books a room for a week, you mean the rooms cleaned every will only be cleaned twice in that time frame? If they even do that. So we had to sleep on the same dirty sheets for 4 days. Absolutely ridiculous

A lot of noise a lot of young people hang around this hotel, and there was mold on the ceiling of my room and the toilets did not work. I had to change rooms at least three times this was a short stay thank goodness but I would not recommend.

It was sketchy…if you’re taking a trip to New Orleans just book a hotel there, we booked this hotel to save some money but it was not worth it

Called ahead to make sure we received rooms with the amenities needed for our Scout trip but when we arrived we were given 3 rooms out of the 4 that did not have kitchenettes. Staff was a bit rude when we brought this up and said they had people living there and they couldn't accommodate us even though we booked the rooms almost 8 months in advance. One room we were initially given was not clean and looked as if they had someone still staying there. We also had issues getting fresh towels and linens. Overall not the best location for younger children.

Staff was kind at the front desk. Didn't have room we booked. We okay a switch to a smaller room. When the room they put us in didn't have AC they refused to refund us what we paid for. Walkways and rooms smelt of drugs and cat urine. Stay away from this place if your life depended on it for you may get shanked in parking lot

Terrible i wouldnt let my dog stay here

There were small roaches in the sink. It was too late look for another hotel since we were only there for a few hours prior to leaving for a cruise the next day. The room they moved us to toilet flush system was horrible too.

We checked in. Opened our room door. And left. Do not safely stay here.

The room was fine except for a couple things. I was in room 169. Had to have front desk come and plunge the toilet after first use of toilet. Sometimes it flushed. Sometimes it didn’t. Also, the floor was covered in crumbs and was never swept from the previous guests. The floor by the air conditioner was overly covered in crumbs. Everyone had to dust their feet off before getting in the bed and also putting on socks. Pretty gross. The remote doesn’t have a back to cover the batteries. We dropped it on the floor once and the batteries spilled out and slid under the bed, which is an inch off the floor. Imaging being on your hands and knees, on a dirty crumbly floor, digging for batteries under a bed that you can’t even reach. That was interesting. Also, the microwave doesn’t have a plate on the inside. Wanna pop popcorn? Without the plate in the inside, the bag doesn’t rotate therefore your popcorn just sits in one spot and burns. That was also interesting. Oh and the room smelled strongly of cigarettes. We could smell it in very article of clothing in our suitcase when we arrived back home and unpacked. Mind you, we don’t smoke. Other than that, our stay was decent. We came for the pool. Didn’t use it because it rained. Staff was nice, including housekeeping.

Roaches everywhere including coffee pot in the sink the customer service was rude wouldn’t let me talk to the manager I will definitely not return ever poorly ran and nasty and rude

Well this entire review is skewed from a huge issue i had leading up to my reservation that the hotel had an issue refunding my original reservation for that week for months. It wasn't until we kept bothering the front desk staff during our new reservation that they finally got ahold of the refund they had to send me. The sink amenity in the room was nice to have. The room itself had a couple bugs inside, and there was no "do not disturb" signs for the door, so housekeeping could come in whenever (and they did that). They also somehow were running out of towels, so we had to give up the two towels we had (and only then could we get new ones). You could hear everything going on outside whether it was construction workers at 5 am, loud kids running past the door, or some guests apparently getting a divorce or something during their stay, yelling it out to the world, and then speeding off in their refinanced dodgr charger that they definitely could not afford, revving their engines loudly and honking their horn. We could hear it all. Overall, would probably not come back here again.

This hotel is okay. I have stayed here 3 times now. The location is great with easy access to Walmart and several popular restaurants. It is about 30 minutes to New Orleans. The rooms I have stayed in have all been recently updated, although I noticed on this stay that there were rooms that were in the process of being remodeled, so depending on occupancy, you might get a room that has not yet been updated. About the updates. They have done a good job in the main room area, although the lighting in my most recent room was a bit lacking. Also, the TV was a small 32" LCD. In other rooms the TV was larger, but I am guessing they only replace the TV when the previous one stops working. There is an apartment sized fridge with freezer (not a mini-fridge), a cooktop, a microwave, and a sink. You will need to bring your own dishes, pans, and utensils. The biggest issue is the shower area. The tub is older and in every case, the tub finish has spots that are stained or pealing. Technically, it is clean, but it just looks old. If you are picky about your bathroom fixtures, you might not like this place. But, I consider the price which has always been very reasonable. The breakfast is not great. There is a waffle iron, cereal, bagels (and a toaster), some juice and coffee. They have hard boiled eggs (you peel) and some packaged muffins. It would be nice if they added some hot items to the breakfast like maybe scrambled eggs and sausage patties. I would stay here again.

The staff was excellent. The only issue I had was there we're too many people hanging around outside. My daughter and I could smell what some of the tenants were smoking because it was very loud. Again, the staff was excellent and the room was comfortable. Due to the crowds that were outside and the activity that was taking place, I do not believe we will be staying again.

It was perfect. Budget friendly for the weekend. A pool for the kids. Super nice staff. A nice cabana with grills. Would definitely book again.

I am not picky and hardly ever leave a bad review. Was looking forward to a good nights sleep after a long drive and we get to our room and dozens of baby roaches everywhere. I definitely would not recommend.
