enVision Hotel St. Paul South

This is an aging flipped hotel or office building that does not maintain any of the exterior, painting, dirt on floors and walls, etc. Staff was polite, but we were between this and the microtel and regret not going with microtel.

The staff was very nice. The cleaning people never came during our 5 day stay. The pool was closed the first day. The snack area had no napkins. The room had zero hangers. The sheets had a good size hole. The lighting was very poor. The back parking lot was either a teens hangout area or uber hang out area. Lots of young men in the back parking lot at 12:30AM at night. The fitness room tread mill did not work the entire 5 days nor did they have any towels in the fitness room. The free weights started at 50 lbs and up, nothing lighter. The decor looked as though it was very nice back in the day but looked very tired. There were lots of weeds around the property.

Upon arriving I was greeted by a very attentive and courteous staff member. I was helped and I went up to my room. There are ample parking and areas where any pet may relieve themselves. All staff are courteous and ready to assist with any needs guests may have. The hotel is clean and there are snacks available for purchase. There is an ATM machine available if needed. I love that the staff is bilingual in case Spanish is needed! My stay was very comfortable.

Clean room, quiet area, felt safe. Only negative i would say is, there is no microwave in the room. So no late night warming up a snack. You have to go down the lobby to microwave something. Other than that, I would go back.

Poor cleaning from staff. No room service. Bathrooms smelled. No microwaves. Gym equipment broken.

Great price for a really good room. I would stay again.

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. Staff was nice and welcoming. Found a cockroach in our room the 3rd day of our stay. Notified staff and they were very apologetic and moved us to a new room on a different floor right away and said they would provide one nights refund. Would not stay again.

Friendly staff, very fun playing Matchbox 20 music the night of the concert!

No ice in the machine, room was fine, exterior looks bad, tried to do early check in but not available

The only elevator also feels like it’s one stop away from breaking down — but the hotels reassurance for guests was “there are teeth that catch it if it falls”. Pros: Location was decent

Dirty, rundown and there was a bug in the room

We booked this hotel last minute for a stay and were happy with the decision. The staff were friendly and the space was nice.

Allows pets so that is why we chose this location because we had to bring out dog. Looks nice on the outside and on the website, but not as wonderful when you get there. Easy to get on and off the interstate

Terrible service, amenities unavailable and wasn’t notified, was told my reservation ended on Sunday and I checked out early only to find out my reservation was until Monday. Terrible stay zero communication and elevators smelled like weed. Had two little girls that were very sad they couldn’t swim and staff gave me the run around all weekend and won’t return my calls. Save yourself the trouble and don’t stay here.

Above and Beyond staff were cool.

Had booked this hotel through Expedia for a last minute business trip and two are surprise as we were walking through the hallway We recognized that the wallpaper was coming off in most areas and once we entered into the hotel room there was a musty smell so I was suspicious of water damage looking into a lower metal axis panel there was rusty metal indicating lots of moisture and water problems I am a specialist in this area so I further investigated the bathroom right away I peeled back some of the already peeling wallpaper and there was mold and especially black mold which is horrible for your health We immediately left the room went down to the lobby and asked for our money back The hostess didn't hesitate to give a full refund and I also communicated with Expedia to get a full refund. I highly recommend if you are considering staying at this hotel not to you may get sick.!!! Mold is nothing to mess with! And this is not just a one-room problem you can see it throughout the hotel! Shame on them for trying to continue to run business in a very dangerous environment the whole thing needs to be renovated!

The hotel was reasonably priced, not centrally located, quiet, and the staff were very hospitable. There are no microwave ovens in the rooms, but there is one near the front desk. I would gladly stay again. Oh, and the room and common areas were very clean.
