Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Inver Grove Heights/Minneap

We will definitely stay here again. When we arrived the staff was friendly and very helpful. When we got on the elevator it smelled clean. The room we stayed in was room 214. It was clean and smelled great. The air in this room was top tier. At certain times of the day we had to turn the air off. It literally felt like a meat locker lol. Housekeeping did an excellent job with keeping the room clean while we were there. Breakfast was your typical continental breakfast with a waffle maker, eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt and fresh hot coffee. Parking was free and I was able to see our vehical from our room. There are several restaurants and even a movie theater that are walking distance from the hotel. Again I will definitely stay here again.

The rooms were very clean. Staff were welcoming and friendly! The only complaint was the breakfast was mediocre.

Everything was nice, worked for a place to sleep and catch breakfast after a long flight. Nothing fancy or great, but nothing bad either. Would use again.

Great location near restaurants and stores

Cleanliness and the breakfast. Beds to me were too firm. I have to have a soft matress. Pillows were really good.

Loved the room! There was a separate sitting area with couch, with a kitchenette counter separating it from the bedroom. Defogging mirror in bathroom and good counter space. The breakfast was good. We were told that wifi was not complimentary unless a member of their rewards program; though they did let us have it for free, the reception was poor. (Microtel website says the wifi is complimentary - no mention of being a rewards member.) Towels and sheets were thin.

All the employees were fantastic. The only issue we had was there were no cell phone plugs in except if you had a 115 adapter.

Pillows and shower weren’t great but the place was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.

The hotel and staff were really nice, and the property was just what we needed for our road trip. The hotel accomodated our dog for a modest fee, which we appreciated.

Staff very courteous and professional. Breakfast more than adequate. Great location for what we like to do. Have been here before and will be back for sure!
