Comfort Suites Southfield/Detroit

great place, recommended!

We had a really lovely stay at the Comfort Suites Southfield. The staff, from the front desk to the folks keeping everything running smoothy, took pride in their work and made sure everything was do correctly. The rooms were very nice-so clean and the beds were really comfortable. It was quite and spacious, just what we needed. The breakfasts were a little limited, I would like more fruit, but we just stopped at a market and bought berries to add. It has been a very long time since I stayed in a hotel that was so attentive, clean and well managed. Hats off to everyone. Highly recommended!

Hot tub had dirt floating around. Other than that it was cool. Looks great it’s being remodeled

The pictures and the reviews would have made me believe i was at the wrong hotel. The room was spacious but it should have been much cleaner. The staff was polite, so that's a plus. Maybe they are doing renovations, or need to do them.

Everything with my stay went well, they were doing renovations but that didn’t really affect my stay, they definitely care about this property, the staff was excellence and was very helpful when I asked for restaurant recommendations

Rooms were clean,even though under construction everything was clean. Disappointed that there was no coffee pot in room,had to go 3 floors to get a cup.

This was nothing more than an arrogant Supervisor letting her position go to her head. We just lost everything so i don't appreciate being treated this way.

I will warn others not to come to the Comfort Suites in Southfield, MI. The Supervisor Tiffany should have a better attitude towards guests. To have to hear housekeeping talking that i needed to or leave or something to that matter then i'll do that and warn others. I was going to extend our stay but at this point i'll go to a better hotel because no guests should have to deal with that or hear that. I know what i heard while at the door of the room. The ice machines were broken. I don't know if it was a sticker or something on the toilet. The best part about our stay was the breakfast.

The room was huge and nice BUT there was long black hair in our room from housekeeping and on the bathroom floor. There was even black hair in my white bath towels!! The desk tops and dresser tops were dirty. Gross! The first night the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night twice….. There were so many kids in the hot tub with blow up toys WE HAD TO KICK THEM OUT!!! No staff to do anything out it. Weirdo’s in the elevator’s staring at us…. Second night the room next door was so loud we had to call and complain….. we are not KARENS but we paid to have a nice weekend and the other patrons were rude withal their kids… Won’t ever stay there again! So much for a girls weekend!!

Location was fine Room was dirty, all surfaces were covered in dirt and needed to be wiped down, couch was filthy and stained even though it’s new, walls were dirty, there was no shower curtain. We were there for a very short night stay thankfully, and typically stay at Marriott’s. Will not ever stay again. Will never recommend.

The hot tub was hot the breakfast was good the room was clean and the staff was nice.
