Clean room, had an upscale look and feel. Bathroom should be renovated but otherwise, it was a nice stay.

Could have been much cleaner!!!

Nothing at this time

Rooms are outdated and overpriced
-
Cheaper prices and don’t lock the doors after 6pm and don’t tell anybody

Breakfast was excellent. I especially appreciated the option of having a half order of the vegetable frittata.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was disappointing enough that I feel obligated to warn others. Paul from maintenance was fantastic. When our toilet unexpectedly flooded our room, he was kind, professional, and apologetic. He deserves recognition. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was awful. Our room was outdated and dirty, with stained caulk around the tub and a grimy bathroom counter. The flood delayed our entire day and forced us to miss our planned trip to Belle Isle. The manager Peggy showed little empathy and acted like we were inconveniencing her by asking to switch rooms after our bathroom flooded and our room smelled like a porta potty. We also weren’t given our breakfast vouchers at check-in, and when we asked for them later, we were treated like we were lying. The parking garage was under construction yet they still charged $15–30 to park in an empty lot. The pull-out bed was basically a box spring and the TV remote barely worked, Wi-Fi cost extra, and the $23 breakfast was terrible..the fresh fruit was the only good part. For over $500 for two nights, this hotel was overpriced, outdated, and full of extra unexpected fees. The fountain in the lobby is honestly deeper and more impressive than the pool. I would never recommend staying here.

2. The ice machine didn't work on the floor I was on, not the floor below - it took 3 floors to finally get some ice. 3. The tub wasn't draining so as you shower, you stand in your filth 4. Low staff- had to wait 15 mins just to ask where to have my daughter (second car park). Plus no one answers your call from your room. Valet staff was very kind.

Nice property

The engineer , Steve was very helpful as he couldn’t get air conditioning to work so recommended a different room that was larger and very cool and even brought us a rollaway cot which was 100% better than sofa bed for my granddaughter .

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing a great way to end my birthday celebration. Would recommend a staycation for anyone?

They stay was the worst stay I have had at a hotel. The air wasn't working good and They didn't have a comfortable sofa bed. It didn't have a microwave. The price was too much for the stay.
-
Add a microwave and a more affordable breakfast option for up and go travelers.

Great location whether you’re traveling to downtown Detroit or visiting the nearby cities like Farmington Hills or Novi. The lobby features great seating areas, a wishing well and a living wall filled with beautiful plants. The rooms desperately need a thorough cleaning and are overdue for an update. The bedspread was old and full of pills. The sealing/caulking inside and at the base of the tub was lifting and dark in color. The anti-slip tread inside the tub was non-existent. The shower curtain did not look fresh/clean. The curtains and lamps were dusty and there were gnats in the room. There was also a damp smell. Lastly, the hotel was extremely noisy. There was a youth conference. There were teenagers/young adults loudly congregating in the halls well after midnight. Called the front desk twice. When the noise quieted in the hallway, there was opening and slamming doors all night. There were orange peels and other debris in the hallway. Very disappointing stay. Will look for an alternative property.
