The first room they gave me was used and occupied, smelled like sex. Nasty! But they fixed it They wouldn’t cancel my reservation

The room was not clean, and the phone didn’t work. They never had any clean towels, as requested. I tipped the cleaning lady to clean the room and take out the trash, but she never came to clean the room (make my bed), take out the old towels, or try to get new ones. There were also food crumbs under the TV stand.

When checking in the employee was too busy “trying to watch the end of the football game and checking me in” to pay attention and get the check in done in a timely manner. The property seemed to have some remodeling being done but was dirty. The shower did not drain well and backed up

The room was spacious enough for the 5 of us that came to town for an overnight trip. The location was easy to access highway.

Multiple entrances making access to rooms very convenient. Our room was not ready— we were given a room without the sleeper sofa and the bathroom room had a foul odor. The next room didn’t have the sofa bed either, finally the hotel personnel went to check the rooms and located a room without a sleeper sofa.

During my stay I found that the staff were not very helpful and were at times rude. I went to the cafe and attempted to order something during the allotted time. The staff all about told me that the hotel or manager did not grocery shop and they was nothing available and that she had been on vacation for weeks. She went to the back but never came back out to communicate anything . This is unprofessional and unacceptable. During my morning checkout the front desk employee communicated that she could not print me a receipt out from deposit. And offered to write a receipt out. How is this possible?

I didn't like that the hotel didn't service breakfast - when other hotels around this location serviced free breakfast for the same room rate.

It was quite and the curtain was dark enough for a good night sleep. It was very clean no bugs, no smell. The staff was excellent and helpful. Five Stars I will book again.
