Radisson Hotel Southfield-Detroit

Don’t start this hotel. It’s awful and needs to be updated. Staff manger was rude and unhelpful. House keeping is not consistent and even when they do come, they do not do a thorough cleaning

Very large hotel, staff was kind.... the room smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that it burned my eyes.

The rooms smelled like cigarettes smoke.The carpet smelled and was old in outdated. The television did not work. I would not recommend especially if you have allergies.

The hotel is old and dirty. Had to wait for needs and go to the front desk to get them, as service was slow. The elevator did not work all the time; I had to take some stairs. Over the weekend, with events, there is no parking. There appear to be transient people in the hotel and around the hotel. I do not recommend it and will never stay there again.

This hotel has seen better days. OK for a short stay but nothing long. I has no bar or liquid soap but I travel with my own. Curtains were very raggedy and the bath mat had a huge hole in it. Needs major rehab.

The room was dark and outdated. Stains on the chair. The bathroom was very small and the water did not get very hot. Glad it was a quick stay and I didn’t need the room for overnight. It served its purpose for me to rest during my stay. The best thing was the free breakfast!

I've stayed here a few times normally very clean (hence why I keep going) the last time the room itself felt a bit dusty maybe its time for a update but it didn't feel the same. Property itself is pretty decent. The staff (one young man in particular. Can't remember his name. Very tall. Little heavy. younger black man) was amazing. Im sure he deserves a raise or something!!! Overall i'd stay again.

The room also lacked freshness and felt unclean overall. Unfortunately, I was so uncomfortable with the condition of the room and the lack of response from staff that I was unable to stay for the remaining nights I had booked. I expected a clean, well-maintained room and prompt customer service, but neither was provided. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to housekeeping and guest service.

Despite booking through Expedia several days before our stay, our room was unavailable when we arrived for a family reunion. We we're forced to find last minute accommodations elsewhere as the hotel did not honor our reservation.

Nice clean hotel stay for one night

It was cheap and outdated. But can’t expect much for the price which I think was too much for the quality of the room.

Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. The door latch was broken, there were noticeable dents in the ceiling, and the shower door wouldn’t close all the way. The TV was mounted crooked with no way to adjust it. We requested extra towels twice but never received them, and we also asked for an iron since there wasn’t one in the room, but that request was never fulfilled either. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, and the room was a standard size. If you’re just looking for a quick, inexpensive place to stay for a night, it may be adequate. Overall, while the staff made a great impression, the condition of the room and the lack of follow-through on basic requests left me disappointed. Personally, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

My room was clean and comfortable, it was nice and cool. The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was great, only $10 which isn’t bad. I loved being on the 15th floor, I’m just sad that the hotel didn’t have a pool, and the ice machine on floor 15 didn’t work. One of the housekeepers had to grab ice for me, which was very kind of him. They had cable, which was ok, but I would’ve loved if I could pull up a movie on Netflix or something. Also I think they need at least one more elevator, because only one elevator gets you to floor 2 for the gym and that’s kinda silly. Lastly parking was difficult, but I got lucky, lol. Otherwise the stay was really nice. I’d still come back for another stay.

Only thing that was missing was pool and outdoor seating… some rooms needed upgrading they had scuffed up furniture and one had a dirty bed skirt however overall it was a good experience loved Salt& Ko

The front desk staff was professional. As far as the room goes there were some problems. The shower door did not close. There were dents in the ceiling. The top latch was broken off. The TV was crook. The AC in the room was not consistent. Did not know if the room was going to be hot or cold. We asked twice for extra towels and never received them. We also asked for an iron as there wasn’t one in the room and we never received it. I had to leave to go get one. The parking lot filled up fast so I had to park in the additional parking lot in the back which had no lights that is dangerous. I would stay again, only if I didn’t have any other options.
