Comfort Suites Southgate-Detroit

Would stay here again.

Very good

We ended up arriving later in the evening and just wanted to get everyone to bed. When we pulled the blankets back to crawl into one of the beds, it smelled like pee. So we took the sheets off and the mattress pad was covered in pee and smelled. The guy at the front counter gave us a new room and told us to take to the manger in the morning. The manger treated us like it was one of our kids that peed on the bed, even though they slept on the pull out couch. We got no apology for the nasty bed. We never got a chance to use the pool, since there was some kind of party going on in the lobby and the pool was packed with kids. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. The hotel is surrounded by businesses that have gone out of business, so it doesn'tseem like the safest area. If we ever come back to the Detroit area, we would pick a different hotel.

This is my go to place when im i. Town.. very pleasant ☺️

Superb

Great location, clean rooms, helpful staff. Highly recommend.

First time I stayed was nice and clean second time I came room smelled like mold also the night shift worker was very rude she looks like she hates her job doesn’t want to help or word had that look on her face not come here

Liked the room decor. My bathroom mirror hadn’t been cleaned from the looks of it. Bed was comfy, Rooms were quiet. Only other inconvenience was that I couldn’t connect to the internet but called the number and they were able to connect me. Would stay there again

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool was too cold

Pleasant

The friendliness of staff. The convenience of a store on premises to buy cokes and water. When we first got into room it smelled like cigarette smoke. After we turned air conditioner on it went away.

NA

Nice clean hotel only issue is the cleaning staff very rude and they way to knock on the door is like a jail cell no manners or respect they start at 10:30am except that

It was clean and quiet and the breakfast was really good

It was very good overall. Value for money Not applicable

Amazing!

Nice quiet and calm

It was clean and very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. And the check in and check out was very easy with no complications I only have one suggestion on improving the TVs in the rooms to Smart TVs so guests can sign into their apps such as Netflix and Hulu and etc.

Very nice
