Wingate By Wyndham Southport

Pool was not being properly cleaned. The side walls had brown build up. Our room smelled musky like it had flooded. We used to love it here but will switch it up next vacation.

Shower curtain torn, house keeping was subpar.

The hotel was okay, good for a one-night stay while we visited Southport and over to bald head island. Things are a little beat, and could be a tiny bit cleaner. The main issue for me was how loud the in room air conditioner was. Had a hard time sleeping.

All you can ask for and more .Very nice experience we enjoyed our stay .we will be staying here again.

Person who check us in seemed annoyed about doing his job. King size bed only had 4 small pillows, about half the size of a standard pillow.

Room was clean but dated. No ice machine. They ran out of food for breakfast by 8 am.

Staff were very friendly and the location was amazing I didn't like that there was no treadmill, the elevators were a little shaky for my liking and there was left over tacos from the previous guest found in our microwave.

This is a good place to stay for a few days. The staff is amazing here!

Close to everything! Ants on bed and table in room. Have is another room and it had ants! I went and bought ant spray . Elevator shook and rattled bad. Coffee or drink stains on floor.

Location Very old, outdated, we were there from Monday to Friday. The room was not cleaned until Friday as we were leaving. I had to ask for towels several days, because housekeeping didn’t come by. The air conditioner was extremely loud. Desk staff was pleasant and the housekeeper that came Friday morning did a full cleaning. Unfortunately, because of a rain storm all the electricity went out, elevators out so we checked out.

The lack of full size pillows, the mold in the room, the lack of towels, the fact that our room didn't lock, etc.

This hotel was not much more than a motel 6. It was filthy, old and in much need of repair. There was a roach in the tub which I took a picture of. The safety bar in the tub is hardly attached. The TV only worked using the physical button on the TV. Remote did not work. Couldn't change channel or volume. Breakfast at 8am was cold and old. They could not make more eggs. I couldn't find any help to even get a napkin. Carpets were dirty. Elevator made scary noises and fridge made loud noise all night.

Beds were do poorly made that I was sleeping directly on the mattress when I woke up Very dated Chair and sofa in the room was very worn Overpriced

Bed was very uncomfortable.

Close to where I needed to be. Would prefer an indoor pool than outdoor pool; and bigger breakfast selection.

Easy to find, clean, staff was friendly Throw sized pillows on a king sized bed that felt like sleeping on the bare ground
