Best Western Plus Spartanburg

The room had a wet floor from a leaking AC unit. Front desk was notified and told me they knew about it . So my point is why give me a room that has a wet floor and smells like mold .

Staff very friendly. Short stay, did not use amenities. Property was pretty clean and well maintained

Found a huge roach in our bathroom and moved to a different floor. But room was super tiny and we were not impressed.

Staff is excellent. Room and common areas looked visible dirty (crumbs on the floor corners of the elevators filthy). Carpet in room was stained. Hot water and cold water were reversed at guest room sink. Lamps, buttons, switches need a wipe down in the guest room. Coffee maker in room was super dusty and the only reason I used it is because the coffee machine in the dining room was disgusting. There was very little hot food in the dining room at 9:20 and the breakfast ended at 9:30 but the staff made me some eggs which was kind. If they’re not going to maintain food levels until the indicated closing time, they should indicate that. The staff was the best part of this hotel so I commend the employees for turning my frown upside down.

When I first arrived, the property was clean and the employee behind the desk was very polite and helpful. That's where the good ended though. The room (311) had trash on the floor (food and straw wrappers), the sink did not drain, there was no cold water in the shower, and the right half of the TV did not work. On top of that, the hotel is so close to the interstate, I slept about 2 hours because of the amount of traffic noise. I arrived at about 11pm, so there were no other rooms available and I didn't complain since I was there to sleep and leave, but for what I paid for a king room and to not be offered some sort of credit or partial refund was off-putting since half of the room did not work. When I told the employee about the issues in the room during checkout, she even said someone else reported it before me. So they knew about it but did not fix it for other guests. I will not return to this location.

Staff not overly friendly… waited several minutes to get checked in attendant was on phone outside of building. Received a room next to elevators and could not sleep at all. The elevator noise was obnoxious every hour of the night, and you heard people talking every time they got on/ off the elevator. Asked for another room and of course they only had 20 cars in the lot but supposedly every room was booked. The hotel room was made out of a closet, dark and needed a better sweeping. Overall hotel was descent, and breakfast was descent for a quick breakfast.

I keep coming back to this Best Western when I'm in Spartanburg. From comfortable bed, well appointed Breakfast Bar to small outdoor pool and clean rooms. Always a great stay.

Exceptional

The property was in a great location. The staff were very nice and friendly. The rooms and hotel were very clean. Nothing. The property was great. Parking at the property was very easy.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property while visiting South Carolina. The staff was great and the rooms were very clean. The amenities were very good as well.

Superb

Got this hotel because we were traveling back from beach to TN and we were to tired it was like 1:30am with 3 boys under 9. We got a 12 clock check out. Room seemed clean until my son found a onion ring on the floor. Other than that, only problem we had was we were so sleepy house keeping was banging on the door at 9am and tried to open our door!!! Who need house keeping when they just checked in late that night and then she came back again at 1130 wondering if we were staying another night. I guess the front desk doesn't relay the message of 12pm late check out to the cleaners. That was the only problem we had. Which when you super tired its a huge problem....

Just a quick stay overnight as we headed to Charleston. The location was great and the room was clean and comfortable! We would stay again
