Spencer Inn and Suites

Rooms were clean, air conditioning worked great, great water pressure & hot water. Very friendly husband & wife team that own & run this. Couldn't meet nicer people. We will stay again when I have my food truck back up that way.

If you like a firm board mattress this is the place for you. Ice machine was broken. Breakfast was nasty. I would not book again.

The room was clean and well maintained. There were no odors. Housekeeping had left the air-conditioning on, which was great! All of the staff were very helpful. We had a handicap room and the parking was right in front of the door. The only downfall was that I was told that the room had a walk-in/roll in shower. This was not the case. It was a regular tub with four grab bars, which was nice. However, the shower seat they provided would not fit in the bottom of the tub unless you had two legs outside of the tub. Not sure how this would’ve worked if he would’ve actually needed to shower. And also, both the upper showerhead and the handheld showerhead were running at the same time. The center of the handheld showerhead fell out and I had to put it back in three times to get it to stay. Again, I don’t know how this would’ve worked with him, trying to sit on the bench sideways and having both showerheads working at the same time.

Room was nice size, clean and comfortable.

We very much enjoyed this property and met the owners. They take pride in their property and care about their guests. They had just changed out all the bed mattresses which was quite comfortable. The location was quiet and convenient to Spencer activities. The breakfast options were better than most 2-star hotels.We will stay here again!

Beds were extremely comfortable and clean. The a/c unit functioned well. Decent counter space by sink. There is no breakfast but literally next door is the American Cafe, which is Excellent! For a non-affiliated lodging chain, we were pleasantly surprised, and pleased. We definitely recommend Spencer Inn and Suites.

A great value motel in Spencer. Wonderful owners/managers. I was happy to have found such a nice motel at a reasonable price.

It was convenient to drive and check in. The only drawback was the door was unusually heavy to open and did not close completely on its own.

Everything met our needs. Kitchen staff was very nice and helpful. She’s a keeper. Room was quiet and clean. Air was quiet when we were asleep and didn’t wake us up. Will stay again.

Very good experience for the price. Older property but you can tell they make great efforts to maintain and keep it clean.

Very clean facility. Shower head was great. Very comfortable bed. I wished the toilet would have been taller. Sr Citizen style.
