Moonrise Hotel

Things were good. Wish they had a pool.

Overall, I had a good stay without any issues. However, the parking environment felt a bit unsafe.

Really cool place in a great part of town. Rooftop bar is really nice.

Room was clean, loved the decor at the hotel. We did dine in at the restaurant for breakfast and it was really good! Staff was all very nice and welcoming

Staff (including manager) was not friendly or welcoming. Food was below average with above average prices.

Great location and friendly staff $

Fun hotel in a great location! We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the rooftop bar & patio. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. Within a short walk to lots of restaurants, bars, and shops. Very convenient place to stay if you’re attending a show at the pageant since it’s right next door!!

I already spoke to the manager nothing else needs to be said.

The Sunday night rooftop party was a surprise and I see is not noted anywhere online. It was pretty noisy, but shut down between 10-10:30pm, so not too extreme. Loved the easy access to Forest Park and there were some businesses I'd have checked out if I wasn't at all-day events!

Clean and cute hotel with a good vibe! The rooftop was gorgeous with great views and lots of seating. I would recommend this hotel!

The Moonrise is one of my favorite hotels, I love the vibe, the location, and the staff!

Came for night 1 of SLAYYYTER and we were beyond happy of our stay. From the parking and being like next door to the venue it was worth the money.

Staff was so helpful and friendly. Room was clean and quiet.

It is a great place to stay. Everyone working there was so kind and it’s an awesome theme. The metro station is under a ten minute walk away which makes it easy to get downtown. Glad I found this place!

The room was sparse, which is fine. Paint was chipping in a number of places. This was true throughout different parts of the facility. The gym was very disappointing. Free weights were missing as well as parts for exercise machines. This is not to mention how drab the facility was. The hotel does a nice job of making sure everyone is aware of the parking situation. That being said, it doesn't make it any more convenient. The parking area is uncovered, located behind the hotel. Unlocked gates are used to deter would be criminals. My wife and I wanted to go to dinner, which requires us to manually move the gates, only for us to get scolded on our reentry when we needed to manually move the gates again. The concern being that break ins occur. Unfortunately there's not a safer alternative. We happened to be staying on a night when there was a rooftop party and a concert next door. This meant there a number of people in the hotel that weren't hotel guests. In all - the people working were great. The location and amenities are not ideal.
