It was just "meh." The staff was nice. But the amenities were just really underwhelming. There was no pool. The New York City Ritz is the same price, and it offers way more amenities. It even offers champagne while you check in. I stayed at the Drury Plaza in the days following my St. Louis Ritz stay, and it was one-third the cost of the St. Louis Ritz but way better. It had a pool, free breakfast, free DINNER, and each adult received three complimentary alcoholic beverages with dinner a night. It was well worth the cost. Meanwhile, I left the St. Louis Ritz feeling a little disappointed.

Very nice property to stay at and a nice walk to Shaw Park.
-
We went on Memorial Day weekend which may have been why but there were so many weddings! (7) The car park was situated so that unless you walked outside and hiked the perimeter of the property you had to navigate through wedding guests to get to your car.

All of my stuff was still out throughout the whole room and they came and took all my sheets away. I’ve never seen a property so this before. Once they entered the door and saw my belongings they should have vacated immediately. This made me feel rushed and I was there to relax.

The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. 5 star service all around.

Excellent staff! I was upgraded to a deluxe room from a standard at check-in. Servers and bartenders were kind and helpful and the food and drinks were delicious.

Breakfast was wonderful and HOT! Glad we ordered room service We had a terrible time with the service at the bar. I was hoping I could speak to someone regarding the situation we had with a staff member. My husband was refused service TWICE for not having a valid ID. He has not one - but two (a back up) ID's that he showed and the reason that the bartender refused him was because he could not see the hologram. Tennessee ID"s do not have a clear hologram and he felt embarrassed for being denied when his documentation is valid. Extremely disappointed in the service and attitude of the bartender. With the title of Ritz- you would think that you could have an electronic ID verifier if ID's are too difficult for the bartenders to read. This happened within 30 mins of checking in to the hotel and absolutely put a damper on our evening.

when i arrived at check in the guest representative EZA treated me as if i didn't belong he left me at the counter waiting for my key for a little over 20 mins where my husband had to knock on the door and ask what was taking so long and after a long trip there i was ready to rest and enjoy my stay but the guest rep EZA was awful and very unprofessional my husband should not had to find him for our keys to our room we paid entirely to much to be treated as if we didn't belong!!!
