There was a lot of mold in my shower

The property isn’t bad overall. It wouldn’t be my first choice to book again though. Staff was nice upon arrival. For one you will most likely want to do valet because the parking garage entrance/exit is down the block where buses run and police station? The breakfast/bar area in the lobby is extremely small. They do have a rooftop restaurant that looked nice as far as pictures but we arrived too late to view it ourselves. They do have a little area to purchase snacks, drinks, etc which is helpful. Unlike other hotels, the junior corner suite here is smaller than the regular king room and there is also only one window which overlooked a roof. If I would have known this was not the bigger room than I would have just paid less for more space. My fault. In the morning we called front desk for towels and they were extremely nice and said they would be delivered but after an hour we called again to follow up and then was told they would have to call maintenance and see if they could bring them….. they were never delivered. To top if off when we were leaving, housekeeping was just a few doors down so I am not sure why getting towels was such an issue. The shower in the room was leaking on the floor on top of the door not shutting all the way. So yeah, enjoy 😂

The property was clean and staff was courteous and the location was great

Beds were nice. I was overcharged for valet. It was supposed to be $32 for overnight valet. It is posted on your website and I was given that information over the phone. I was charged $88+ for only two nights. We were not told that we could have self-park for less. We were not told to use our key card on the elevator to get to our floor, so we rode pass our floor wondering why it did not stop. Our rooms were comfy, but the next day we noticed it had not been cleaned. It was a chore to get extra cups and towels for the room. When we first arrived, we received no help in getting our bags from vehicle. There was no bell hop available for your hotel and valet initially was no help. We would talk to a staff person about issues and then never hear back. Second day, Abdul was very helpful.

I have been to several Marriott properties around WashU and this is the best in terms of cleanliness, service and atmosphere. Rooms were new and clean. Staff from check in to checkout was courteous. Lively Rooftop bar was the best part. Also, hotel doesn’t say on web/app but non-valet parking is available right next to hotel. Highly recommend and will stay again.

Great stay!!

The street in front of the hotel was closed for resurfacing and the noise and stink from the work lasted all day through 11pm! No price discount was offered. I paid extra for a quiet room on the corner and was given a room directly under a bar and restaurant that was open through the night. This is in the St. Louis metro area with 95% fiber optic coverage but they used a cheaper dish network that went out when a storm passed through. The tvs hdmi port didn't work. This is yet another well built hotel that is being run on the cheap. IMHO not nearly worth the price I paid.

Very clean. Self-parking seems a little inconvenient, but not bad when you get used to it; might want to use valet.
