Never again will I stay here.

From the moment driving up the bridge to the moment of driving away, every moment spent at Don Cesar was unforgettable. From the private beach access, to the variety of restaurants, there was no need to step out to grab anything. We were only there for 1 night but will be there for plenty more to explore all the amenities. Staff was incredibly amazing and sincere and service was absolutely superb. Will definitely be back for a much longer stay.

It honestly seemed understaffed -- I don't know how else to explain how much we waited to order things at the pool, the beach, the restaurants, for our room, etc. And the worst part, was the weather precautions. I'm a Floridian... in the summer you might have rain and thunder for 5 minutes or an hour each day. They closed the pool due to thunder several miles away (yes you could see gray clouds down the coast) but it was sunny, blue skies, and honestly there is not where else to go once they don't allow you in their pool, they close the pool bar, they close the deck, and the way this hotel is set up, you have to go inside and maybe go to your room which some will be lucky enough to have ocean views. I felt like that should be up to me and my family for when we wanted to go inside due to weather. They also wouldn't let us go to their private beach, once we could, we couldn't use an umbrella, even though it wasn't even windy enough for my daughter to fly her kite. We just kept joking with other guests about the circumstances that they took the weather so seriously so they could send people home,, or justify not having to serve people. It was truly so bizarre.

We stayed over the Fourth of July weekend, and the experience exceeded our expectations. What impressed us the most was the staff. Everyone throughout the hotel was friendly and professional, but the beach staff was truly outstanding. We were genuinely surprised by the level of service they provided. We’ve stayed at many hotels in Florida and across the U.S., and this was some of the best beach service we’ve ever experienced. They were attentive, welcoming, and made us feel incredibly well taken care of. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel as well as lunch from the beach bar. The food was delicious, the breakfast was excellent, and the cocktails were fantastic. One of our favorite touches was being able to order food directly from our beach chairs and having it delivered right to us—it made spending the day by the ocean even more enjoyable. We actually spent very little time at the pool because the beach was simply too beautiful to leave! Our room was comfortable, the beds were great, the bathroom was well maintained, and housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

Absolutely beautiful. Staff was incredible besides a very rude woman that worked in the gift shop.

Love! Love! Love. Spend my 50th birthday basking in a beautiful Florida sign at this property! Could not have asked for anything more.

This is an incredible hotel. Top notch customer service. Amazing beach access and great pool. The rooms and bathrooms are small. It’d be really hard to fit 4 people in one standard room, but they are very clean and decorated nicely. Like most nice hotels, the drinks and food were insanely expensive but just know that going in. We did a grocery delivery order of bottled water and snacks to help offset some of the costs.

Staff went above and beyond to help with our needs/questions.

Always a great time there

We recently stayed at The Don CeSar for my wife’s bday weekend and had a wonderful experience. The iconic “Pink Palace” combines historic charm with modern luxury, and the beachfront location is hard to beat. The staff was welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, the property was beautifully maintained, and the beach and pool areas were outstanding. The rooms were comfortable, and the Gulf views and sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. Whether relaxing by the pool, enjoying the beach, or simply taking in the atmosphere, it was a memorable getaway. We look forward to returning in the future.

Was an amazing property with top class service, amenities, and we will be back.
