Hilton Garden Inn New York / Staten Island

It was a good stay. We practically took up residence there for a week; my children and I. The thing that was inconsistent is that our room wasn’t cleaned daily, we didn’t get out of the room at the regular times (before 11) we slept in so one day was skipped and the following day I had to call about 5 times to have the room cleaned. Some of the managers are exceptional while others could care less. The front desk could be more warm, overall, it was a good stay.

The owners came to chat during dinner in the restaurant. Food was good and very attentive staff.

Good rooms, staff is nice and plenty of parking. The hotel can get quite busy in the lobby as they host a lot of events. Also need to improve the coffee at the restaurant.

How tall is over there and air conditioning was not working and move this to another room and and the thermostat but not change the different levels for cooling was not satisfied I'm not happy I would never stay here again

The staff was wonderful !!!

Convenient location Very rude staff. Within ten minutes we were told we had complaints about being loud. We hadn’t been off the elevator long enough to be in the room to generate a complaint. The room was horrible unclean.

room was comfortable and met expectations. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not free and we were charged $2 more that what was advertised. Also, the breakfast was overpriced for the value.

Quiet, decotive pics , professional Room had smell rug?

You can hear everything through the walls. Couldn’t sleep from an arguing couple all night. The bathroom you can hear people having a conversation through the walls. It was not relaxing to sleep in the room and hear everything, including every flush that occurs.

Great experience me and my girlfriend only stayed here for one night moved from another hotel that had such a small room so switching to the Hilton was 100% worth it. I'll make sure I'll be staying here when I come back to visit for the weekend

Everything was great

They have pack & plays for babies! They have accessible rooms. They have ice machines, a commissary, and a restaurant in the hotel. They have a parking lot. The printer is free to use. Cons: The accessible room 324 had an unvented bathroom, so mold was in the shower wall and humidity LIVED in the room. The accessible room had a weak toilet flush. The accessible room had a sign attached to the back of the door literally blocking the lower peephole from being used. The accessible room had no noise dampeners on the cabinets, so every fridge opening was liable to shake the soul. The accessible room’s bathroom smelled of cigarettes. The restaurant was the only food around without ordering out, so no continental breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and were always there to answer any questions we had. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable after a long day walking around NYC.
