They canceled the room on us

It was conveniently located right next to the highway. It was clean and comfortable.

The room, upon arrival, looked like it was made up by a toddler; not what one would expect even from a Motel 6. One of the elevators was out; things happen but was par for the course for the stay. Most irritating, however, was the charge for parking. We're not talking about New York City here. We're talking about the outskirts of Staunton; there is NOTHING around....and yet, charge for parking? I could park ANYWHERE in downtown Staunton for free! All in all, lost me for good. FAR better options are everywhere.

We’ve stated his several times, but not sure about it anymore. You now have to pay to park ($5 a night, but what’s next, pay for the linens?). No coffee maker in the room, which was an unfortunate surprise when you wake up an hour before breakfast is served.

The pool is ridiculously small and it is inside. When I opened the door into the pool room, I was overcome by the strong odor of chlorine or some other chemical.. the pool water was cloudy not clear and I quickly left the room. The pool wasn’t usable.

The desk staff were friendly and even suggested a great place for food! There was hair in the shower.

Clean, quiet, and convenient. The breakfast, however, left a bit to be desired. The pancake machine had a sign saying it was out of order. The cinnamon rolls the first day were wonderful but were informed the second and third days that “the truck” would not arrive until after we departed. The biscuits were hard as rocks. This needs some attention. Not terrible but lacking the care given to the rest of the property.

And there’s a 5$ parking fee for staying there. Probably won’t go back.

It was my wife’s birthday weekend and the management and staff went above and beyond to make it a awesome weekend Everything was awesome

Again, the housekeeping situation, no clean towels, trash cans were full in our room.

The room was nice, had to ask for towels and thought that housekeeping would gather up the used towels and replace with fresh. The pool was nice, a little small but overall nice. A jacuzzi would be a great addition at some point. The breakfast bar was very good. Again, the housekeeping situation, no clean towels, trash cans were full in our room.

5.00 parking fee was ridiculous! Breakfast was not as good as holiday inn express usually is.
