Everything about the hotel met our needs. The highlight is the staff. They are very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with good variety. The location is also outstanding with easy access to I-81 and close to Downtown Staunton. Except for a single employee who will remain anonymous the rest of the staff are helpful and courteous. I originally booked for 2 nights but when I checked in the Front Desk told me they only had a reservation for a 1 night stay. I showed my copy of my Booking.com Confirmation for 2 nights so she did some more looking. She fould the 2nd night but she said I would have to checkout in the morning and check back in again in the afternoon. I told her that was unacceptable and rather than help me she became rude. She told me that if I booked through a 3rd party like Booking.com consecutive stays in the same room could not be guranteed unless I booked directly through Marriott. Rather than argue with her I requested she cancel my reservation for the 2nd night. The Front Desk told me that I would have to contact Booking.com. I was grateful Booking.com customer service stepped in and modified my reservation to a single so I was able to get another room at the Hilton next door. I talked to the Fairfield Front desk when I checked out and requested the Hotel Manager call me to explain what happened. He never called so I can only recommend this hotel for a single night stay. Booking multiple nights are done at your own risk. Completely ruined my perception of Marriot. Personally I will not stay here again.

This is our second time staying at the is particular location. We have been very satisfied with both stays. Friendly staff, clean rooms, helpful amenities. We did not eat breakfast because we had to leave so early, but the breakfast area was clean and very comfortable looking.

Very nice stay . 5 star stay

The location was good. The breakfast had a good variety but the layout was not smooth. The pool area was very nice. The floor in our room was dirty. There was not a bathtub and the shower wall was clear glass so when someone was taking a shower no one else could use the bathroom. It was on my reservation that I had 3 children. The breakfast area was crowded and the layout was choppy.

Comfy beds. Solid breakfast. Good pool and gym. Friendly staff We arrived a couple hours early and our rooms were not ready, but the front desk got us a key so the kids could swim in the pool. Would absolutely stay here again!

The chocolate milk was spoiled. Myself and another guest discovered it and it made me sick.

The room was adequate but the hallway needed to be cleaned. Breakfast was cold and the toaster didn't work.

I don’t know. I arrived in the middle of the night with a party of 6, including 2 kids and a toddler. I was told there were no rooms. My sister booked hers through the bonvoy app and there was no room for her either. Our reservations were cancelled because the new hotel system overbooked the rooms so we had to wander in the night to find another hotel. That it was overbooked.
