It was a small apartment well appointed and very nicely furnished! I appreciated how close it was to everything and love how they refurbished the place. The game room is cool. And it was just a relaxing place to stay.
-
Awesome place! It has been beautifully renovated full size kitchen plenty of space for everybody we had and plenty of bathroom space. The only thing is there’s no breakfast provided if that is something that people want, but it wasn’t something we preferred. They’re very dog friendly all the people that worked there were so friendly and we never have any issues.

Loved the amenities. The hotel was so unique. The game room was perfect for family. We were in for my son’s wedding and were able to use the outdoor grill. The staff was wonderful and they got to have a meal with us too. We used the kitchen in our two bedroom suite daily.

My husband and I booked last minute for a holiday weekend in Steamboat Springs. I was excited to see how affordable The Fold was compared to other similar hotels in the area. But, that is what they advertise, affordability. The rooms were recently renovated and come with a full kitchen and separate bedroom. The soap dispensers in the shower were empty, there was no hand soap in the bathroom. There were no extra bath towels, just 2. The ceiling fan in the bedroom would randomly turn on/off in the middle of the night walking us up several times. Everything seemed minimal. The grounds were dirty with dog poop all over the grass. They advertise a dog friendly environment, but there were not bag stations. It was okay. Would we stay here again? Maybe....just because it is affordable, doesn't mean it has to feel unkept and lacking in comfort.

Had a super large room but was disappointed with the cleanliness. The shower wouldn’t drain and it was clogged with so much hair and bugs. Thankfully maintenance came quickly to fix it. But even so, we found some bugs throughout and it looked like the bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned.

Very comfortable

Beds and linens were nice. Location was great for our needs. Price was low. So. Booked it for the price and the location and got what I paid for.

The hotel is like a 1 bedroom apartment, convenient for families. There is a family of bears that like to hang out at the back of the trees by the hotel! This was very special to us.

This is a very family friendly place. It is clean and very conveniently located. **Bonus a family of bears lives in the woods at the back of the property!!**

The room was decent and large—very much appreciated the kitchen. I also really liked the patio and nice grassy space behind the building. I don’t think this room can be called “newly renovated” anymore. The bathroom especially could be freshened up. My largest complaint is that there were no employees and no information anywhere! I had questions at check-in but couldn’t get ahold of anyone through the phone number. Information about WiFi, the included breakfast (not sure if this was even a thing?!), or checkout instructions were nonexistent. The only way I was able to get the WiFi passcode was because I happened to run into someone stocking water in the lobby. It’d be really amazing if this type of information was posted in the lobby or in the rooms or even emailed to you around check-in time. I also had seen someone in a review mention being able to use a pool at a neighboring property—never could find any info about this. Please figure out a way to provide this information to guests to prevent frustration.

Our stay was not the greatest. There was a 12U baseball tourney to be going on in town, so we booked months in advance. When we arrived there was a big miscommunication regarding the deposit that was paid in advance, and confusion as to why the hotel was requesting the full amount. I had to call the 1-800 number, and it was “explained” that a hold was put on the card, but that it wasn’t charged. For the two nights that we were there, there were constant unattended roving bands of boys that were yelling, screaming, pounding on doors and being generally ill behaved. The front desk staff was rarely if ever present to address the issues that were constantly coming up. The hotel has a kiosk to check into your room in the lobby, so maybe they assume you won’t/don’t need any assistance once you have your room keys. On the morning of our check out at 9am there was once again no one there to assist with that process, so we finally had to flag down the housekeeping and maintenance staff to help with trying to reach someone. There was no front desk staff on the property. I will not be returning to this hotel.

Large rooms. However breakfast was a major disappointment. It does not start until 8 am. A bigger issue was the stale food and very limited selections on day one, and nothing put out on day two.
-
Several times I needed to talk to reception and no one was there. I alsocalled the hotel number, repeatedly, but no one ever picked up. I asked for a late checkout, was given till 11am, at 10:45 we couldn’t get into our room, no one at the front to help

This newly renovated property was perfect for our long weekend getaway to Steamboat. The 2 bedroom suite had plenty of room for 4 adults and one dog. The suite was very clean and the kitchen had the basics for putting some simple meals together. We appreciated the refillable water bottles and refilling station in the lobby to ensure the whole family stayed hydrated. Communication through the booking site we used and the property did not work, however we were able to resolve our needs in person at check in.
-
Good location, newly renovated. I liked the apartment layout of the room The lobby was closed both morning when it was supposed to be open for breakfast. One of our showers would not drain and the entry door was very hard to close within the door frame.
-
Location was good The city.
-
The property was exactly what was described. We enjoy the hot tub in the sauna room.

Close to everything. Nice property. Breakfast needs a little help. Pretty slim pickens. not much of anything. Staff is excellent. All in all we had a nice stay.
