Hampton Inn Stow

Only cable TV and II had trouble finding the guide.

The convenience to all of our sightseeing stops.

Clean and convenient.

Also, the hallways were very uncomfortably hot. Our stay was during a warm September time. Evidently they don't bother air conditioning the halls. The free breakfast was pretty good.

Location was good, staff was nice. The heater smelled like wet dog. The shower curtain smelled like cigarette smoke. There was no ventilation so the room felt “wet” the whole time. Every time we’d shower it never seemed to go away which felt disgusting. Water damage on roof in bathroom and room, pool area as well. Take out all the gross carpet!!

As requested, we appreciated that the staff gave us a room with a firmer mattress. Everything else was just fine. Breakfast was well stocked and kept clean.

Our room was clean enough, but I hate showers, I like bath tubs. Well, I couldn't fill the bath tub with water unless I ran the shower to fill it because the diverter on the spiget wouldn't push or pull so the only water was from the shower head. It took a while but eventually I got about 4 inches of water for a bath. I wanted to wash my hair at the sink basin, but the basin wouldn't drain regularly. It was very, very slow and very small. So if I would have used it for hair washing, the water would have been all over the floor. The room had a refrigerator but it was not cold. We shortened our trip because our business in Stow,, OH, was complete. I am still waiting for my refund for the 2 nights unused.

The beds in this hotel are too soft for me. First time experience with the beds

The staff members were extremely nice, very respectful very helpful. Location was ok as well. My sink was clogged, my room felt moist/humid even with the air conditioning left on. Random tap water running sound in the middle of the night not sure where it’s coming from I got up to look everything looked normal but I could hear it and then it would stop. The gym was just a show piece, couldn’t do much there. Everytime I came down for coffee it would be out, when asked about it they’d say it’s brewing but it took long and I was getting late for work. Not much options for breakfast.

Convenient, helpful, stayed for one night so I didnt use much but it was all there!
