AWOL Stowe

Nice resort friendly staff unique grounds.

Loved the cute bar and staff. Just felt for what we paid it should have been nicer. Stowe is beautiful and the hotel is in a great location.

We found a lovely hike at the back of the hotel. Disappointed with the welcome generally and no welcome cookies which we had experienced AWOL we stayed at in kennebunkport. Room was cleaned in a timely manner but not very well, bits of toilet tissue on the floor… Breakfast, some good choices but not replenished, rubbery egg dish and dirty table. Had to ask each day for mugs & were given dirty ones. No space to sit other than outside on 2 mornings…. Lucky those days were dry. The breakfast was disorganised, dirty and unappealing. Staff were friendly.

The breakfast they offer is great! The home-made bread is spectacular! My only complaint is the exterior needs some attention. A good refresh of paint would go a long way.

Such a beautiful place. We loved our little A Frame cabin and the lodge was so beautiful. Breakfast was absolutely a must and I find myself craving some of the items we had. The property is perfect location near everything and the amenities were very relaxing! We would stay here again!

Clean room, excellent breakfast!

The one of the hot tubs went not working, so as sauna in the morning. Little bit of disappointment since we booked this hotel for the amenities…but staff were so nice and breakfast was really delicious. I will definitely come back if the amenities were improved.

We loved it here. It was so serene! And the property is beautiful.

One down side I must say is water pressure. It was very weak, but it did not steal the amazing experience at the hotel.

Breakfast was very good, location convenient to everything. Wonderful facilities. Bed was not very comfortable.

The staff and location was great. We were looking forward to staying in one of the aframes to get a true Vermont experience.. we traveled four hours to stay at this spot. Unfortunately the cabin had no running water. The staff did try to make it right and upgraded our room but it wasn’t a cabin so we were very disappointed but made the best out of it and enjoyed the village and the scenery

Large and spacious - very comfortable and homely. Great trails just behind property. Pool was a bonus along with the hot tubs. Enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evening. Outstanding breakfast. No

Fantastic stay. The hotel is new, clean, very comfortable, and feels incredibly upscale for the price. My husband and I had a relaxing few days and loved that we could bring our pup along. Great cocktails, delicious breakfast, charming staff, and fire pits at night where you can enjoy a drink under the stars. We’d absolutely stay again.

Large room and amazing views Lack of attention to detail and comfort for guests. Room looks great but doesn’t measure up to appearance.

Not what we expected, room was dirty and carpet needed to be replaced. Hot tub looked to dirty to go in, area was nice but breakfast was at 8am. which is a big turn off for early risers.

There were lots of little nats in our bathroom by the light over night, but not in our bedroom.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds are fantastic with fire pits and hot tubs and the sauna and hammocks. It really draws in a community of people rather than just going about your stay.
