This is an excellent place to stay. Bed was super comfortable and it was peaceful and quiet

I booked this specifically based on so many positive reviews. Found it hard to believe it was the same property! My room was very rough around the edges, some holes in the walls, dents and missing pieces of trim, one electrical outlet was uncovered with exposed wires, some mildew in the tub, grunge around windows. Not worth $190 a night for sure.

A little dated, but clean room and amenities are as listed. Staff very kind and accommodating.

Very old hotel that could use updates. The bed needed a new mattress and the room was very dated.

Cozy/homestyle feel hotel with a very friendly staff and convenient location for Stowe. Everything was clean, and there's an underrated outdoor seating area overlooking a pond in the back. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely a joy to stay here. From the warm welcome from the older man at the desk at check in to any and all needs met with kindness. The lady during the day was just as kind and helpful. A breath of fresh air from the chain hotels. I'm egar to return for another stay.

We stayed on a nice that had high humidity and hot temps. We attended a graduation, so it was very late when we got to the room. We noticed the A/C was not working, we spoke to the desk person. They explained how to reset the A/C in the room. We did that and still not working. We spoke to the desk again and was told to give it a half hour or more and if it doesnt work then they would give us another room. Well by then it was almost midnight and the kids had fallen asleep. So we didnt change rooms. An it was a miserable night sleeping

No extra hot tub, one jet

Ver practical. Not ostentatious. Reasonably priced. Good value. Clean. Older facility but appeared well maintained. Would definitely stay there again.

Great staff

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean, but this place is badly in need of a refresh. It’s just outdated and a bit worn. Would it stop me from staying here again? Not necessarily if price was driving the bus. But I’m not sure it’s a place that you recommend to others.

They had real creamer for the coffee.

1st room was musty, cobwebs, wallpaper peeling off. Bathroom- tiles on floor were coming up and wallpaper peeling off wall. Air conditioner broken in our room. Hotel was mad that they had to move us after offering us the housekeeper's fan to borrow. Couldnt even open the windows as the screen for the windows were down on the ground outside. Room next to us had water damage outside their door drippping from ceiling, told front desk they said this isnt the first time..it happens often and as i looked around to other rooms nearby ,you could see the water damge on the walls and ceilings.. Staff- what staff??? Everyone was a volunteer who didnt know anything about the place. We had questions about billing and our inconvenience and they didnt know what to do - "they just volunteer here" . We finally get moved to a second room on the first floor, more active floor. Go in still cobwebs everywhere ..vents, sprinkler system, mold on the windws and frames ,wallpaper peeling and trim in bathroom off laying on floor..air conditioner worked but only kept the room a little cool.. had a bug on the floor...advertised and i got an email saying the outdoor pool was open and ready..nope not even filled. Hot tub and saunas were supposed to be of use. One hot tub was but it had black stuff in it and the saunas were down.. the pictures on their website are not even close to what rhe resort looks like now. The furniture in the common area is old, stained and dilapidated. This place needs an upgrae

Unexceptional, but nothing wrong.

A very dated property. The price was reasonable but there was a good reason. This place is in need of a total renovation. The sink didn't drain well, there were stains everywhere, and the first night we found a bed bug on the pillow, alive. It was the only one we saw over the weekend, but still pretty gross. The community microwave was underpowered and couldn't pop popcorn. It's a beautiful location, and convenient but I wouldn't stay there again. The staff tried to be helpful, and they were very nice, but the place needs a lot of work.

Always admired the appearance of the outside of the facility. I asked for a room close to the door which we got. Check-in went good as expected. I had informed them we would not check in until evening and they explained office is manned 24 hrs which was a bid help due to our travel circumstances. It was quiet and clean. No breakfast but they told us that after we reserved our room. Beds were old and dated. We didn't sleep much that night due to the bed being hard and bedding being noisy.

The AC didn’t work I’ll let them know and also the pool was way too cold to put my baby in, but other than that, it was a nice stay

excellent staff & real clean/neat. Quiet & safe, plenty of parking. Amenities are the downside: No usb ports in the room, no coffee maker in room, no microwave in room, no breakfast.........coffee is plentiful 24/7 but you have to go to the lobby to get it.
