Topnotch Resort

So, this place is amazing. We didn’t use many of the amenities but would have if your stay had been longer. Restaurants and bar are great, rooms are quiet, pools are large and uncrowded. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a very enjoyable experience, and we would be happy to return.

The staff at the spa, pool and restaurant were great. The shower in our room was broken and this was only discovered on the morning that we were set to check out (this was a one night stay). When front desk staff were notified nothing was offered (not even an apology for the inconvenience) to decrease the impact of the broken shower other than to send maintenance to the room to fix it. Again, this was hours before we were set to check out and we had a spa treatment so opted to not wait for the hotel room shower to be fixed and used the spa showers instead. While overall our stay was relaxing the broken shower was a challenge not readily addressed by front desk.

We had a great stay at Topnotch. Spent most of our time by the pool with a few trips into town. The room was nice and clean. The pool was wonderful and the setting was beautiful. We will be back!

The hotel is very average with a not so impressive outdoor pool and nothing else to do on the property. The staff is courteous but the property even charges you extra for a basic s’mores making kit for kids. In short too expensive and not worth the $$$.

We had wanted dessert one evening and were turned away saying it was closed an hour before closing time. The free tennis courts are old and in bad shape. We did enjoy the outdoor pool and the spa services. However, despite booking four services, I was asked to pay for lounge access at the spa. No thanks.

I had a great stay at the Topnotch Resort. It had a great friendly comfortable feel to it and at the same time a luxury experience. The views from the outdoor pools were amazing and the indoor pool and hot tub were amazing too. I loved the waterfall effect to massage your shoulders and the power jets to massage your back and legs. I wished the outdoor hot tub had power jets too. The bar was great but I didn’t try any dining when I was there. I Checked out the spa and it had first class offerings. The service was fantastic and I really enjoyed talking to the J1 employees and hearing about where they came from. It makes you want to travel and see their beautiful countries. The room was excellent too but the bathroom was starting to show as a little worn. Overall an amazing property and I really appreciated Jeff asking about my stay and wanting to hear the feedback - both good comments and notes where you improve. It’s that kind of attention and response that tells you an organization or business cares about excellence and wants to use that information to make things even better. Very impressed by the resort!!
